What's next?
I'm currently setting up the pledge manager for you. This is where we will be collecting your addresses and shipping costs (if applicable) and where you can choose further add-ons if you like.
Once the set-up is done and approved by Backerkit, you'll get another email from me with details and a link to your Backerkit survey. Please make sure to fill it in as soon as possible so there won't be any delays in you getting your games!
Project status
The German version of the game has already been printed and shipped to me. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the print quality, so I'm currently waiting to hear back from the printer about a reprint. I don't expect this to impact the overall fulfillment time.
The English version is currently in proofreading and will be sent to the printer's as soon as I've gotten it back and worked in any corrections.

Hey folks! Initially, it was my goal to keep this campaign fairly simple, but I've decided to add one higher-tier goal for those who really want a unique version of Dracotrophication. With that, I'm announcing the Dragon's Hoard tier! Check out the details below:
At this tier, you receive a fully unique black-and-white, home-stapled zine. This zine will include doodles, commentary and unique annotations from Darling Demon Eclipse. We will send a survey shortly after the campaign ends, asking a few questions about what sorts of elements you want highlighted, like... ♥ Do you want more Dragon doodles or more Maiden doodles? ♥ Are there any mechanics or game elements you're particularly curious about? ♥ Can I draw huge dragon schlongs in your zine?
The hand-stapled zine will be contained in a box of mystery Dracotrophication-related trinkets and notes. Eclipse will send this box to you directly with no shipping or handling costs.
You also get the full game on PDF distributed through Itch.io, as well as a physical copy of the Zine mailed to you! Do be aware that the shipping costs will be calculated later through the pledge manager.
If you're interested in this tier, consider grabbing it while it's available! We'll be doing only 10 of these special little artifacts.
Answer your surveys, you should've got an email from Backerkit this week to do so. I need those to process your order, and if you don't finish it by end of April, I can't guarantee your rewards anymore. About half of you have done so this week, thank you!
Digital packages are outbound. Once I hit publish on this update, I'll be sending download keys via itch.io for each of the five games! PLEASE leave a 5-star rating and/or nice comment on the game pages, it helps me a ton. Each game will come as a separate key email unfortunately so be sure to check spam if you're missing stuff.
Physical pledges are nearing in. All the print zines have been ordered, I'm working on the card deck right now, and things are going very smooth. Almost too smooth. I'll be locking down orders/addresses in like 2 weeks which gives me time to receive all the mail and get your shipping payments processed and all that.
Exciting news - we have zines in hand! Well, kind of.
That's right, the first zine are here! For now, they're mostly still in the form of beautiful pages printed and collated (by a local worker-owned cooperative here in Montreal, support small businesses). Allison still has to fold and assemble each zine, and it turns out - this may shock you - we're going to need more black lace. No matter - to the thrift store!
All of that is to say, we are on track to ship zines out on our original timeline, by the end of March.

Based on results of the polls we're making her eyes non-starry and second costume with be the Sharky hood. The manufacture started working on her and I will update you with the news as soon as I get something!

Please bear in mind that it's the first time I'm making a campaign like this and using this website, so I wasn't familiar with the technical side, so it might look a bit messy! :(

🚚SHIPPING ESTIMATES
All orders will be shipped in May. For now I give myself 1,5 months for work on the artworks and the plushie and 2 more weeks for getting everything shipped to me. If it takes more time, I will be sending you information by email. But I will do my best to fit in this schedule! If I somehow make it earlier, I will be shipping earlier :)

Thank you all for the immense support we've received over this campaign! Your generosity has ensured Hammer City Games is going to be doing very well this year for the next few projects we have slated!
Our next steps will be further commissioning Hodag's art and getting the writing edited and nice and sexy. So far, 85% of the writing is complete, so right now we're finishing up the Planetary System Generator, and fleshing out some things we feel are useful for the zine in general! We don't have an ETA on the digital fulfillment, but I can definitely say: SOON.
As of now, I'm working on the Battlefield Hexmap so we can begin printing that ASAP, which means manufacturing should be done for that about...September? Books print faster so that's why we wanna print what will take the longest ASAP.
Otherwise, we will keep the lines of communication open, and of course feel free to reach out and scorn us about whatever it is you might want to complain about! Thank you again!
The Backerkit survey gremlins have completed their work and we have sent out the backer surveys to 5% of backers (which they call the smoke test). If you receive your survey in this initial batch, it would be a tremendous help to us for you to fill it out promptly, and to ask any questions you may have about it, so that we can fix any issues before sending out the rest of the surveys!
The survey is where you can:
Enter your mailing address and pay for shipping.
Change pledge levels.
Add on additional copies of FOLK I, FOLK II, or the risograph print.
If you don't receive a survey yet, don't worry! That just means you weren't part of the smoke test. We will post an announcement once the rest of the surveys are sent.
