Currently the only thing we're missing is the bandaid add-ons. I'm not entirely sure what happened, but it seems like they went missing or were forgotten because my manufacturer is having to remake them now. While that does put a damper on me getting some high quality photos in a timely manner, safety testing and production on everything else can carry on in the meantime so it isn't the end of the world.
To that end I've sent the final count to the manufacturer, crunched the numbers, and am feeling pretty great about where everything is at right now! The final count for all plushies, plush accessories and bandanas is roughly 22,000 isn't that wild??
Thank goodness we have a warehouse to send them to this time! 😅
Project Update: Natural Color Orange Anxiety Fox DONE!
I am popping in quickly to share photos of the finished Natural Color Orange Anxiety Fox plush!! I am still floored that this design is the most popular, considering it was added in last minute. Here are the much anticipated photos! My manu was so sweet and took these photos during her own trip and I am forever thankful!
🌸 Tanukis and Raincoats are ALMOST There!
Since I am commited for each plush and accessory to be the best they can be, the rain coats and Tanuki plushes are going through one final revision! The revisions are small but I want to ensure that each item meets my stamp of approval.
Don't worry! In the even that the samples are not approved by May 15th then I will extend the Survey Completion deadline! This way, you don't have to feel rushed with your decision. I hope this helps!
I will be back home from a trip tomorrow but will immediately go sell in the dealers den at FWA this weekend! I will bring some of the Pocket Friends plush if you wanted to see them in person.

There are going to be a lot of updates coming as we get started on this journey at long last. For now the window is closing to guarantee your plush at the campaign exclusive price! This also means the additional freebie sticker is gonna go out to everyone too!

Project Update: And that's a wrap!
There is a lot of work ahead! Here's the immediate next steps!
- Card charges start now! If your payment fails, there will be a second attempt in a week, and another in 2 weeks. Please make sure you have a proper card on file by then or you will lose your campaign discounts!
- I won't receive the payment before a week has gone by. However as soon as I get access to the funds I will be ordering our 8 safety tests to get it underway and make sure we can go to production as soon as possible!
- While we're waiting for funds to be released I will be doing the art for the 2 bonus freebie stickers. Dark horned king won last second by a single vote so that design will go to everyone who pledged before standard size Terra was unlocked! White flame goddess will therefore be a freebie for EVERY BACKER! Expect to see updates here!
- While safety testing is going on I will also be ordering other rewards: stickers, keychains, scent sachet materials, and voice boxes.
- I will be reaching out to custom dragon backers via survey! Your survey questions will have brief instructions to follow.
- Once safety tests for all the plush are completed we will be moving on to manufacturing! The goal is to get that underway by July ideally.
The rest is all officially down the line enough that I won't bore you with it, but once we have reached the manufacturing stage expect another break-down update for the manufacturing + overseas shipment. After that we'll be breaking down fulfillment. At current October 2024 is still holding as a good estimate for pledge fulfillment. We will re-evaluate this at every break-down!
Other updates you can expect in the near future:
- A jumbo stuffing tutorial video! I've learned a couple of tricks handling as many of these dragons as I have, so I will be sharing them to try and make sure you all have an easy time dealing with your unstuffed jumbos.
- Reward unboxings! I will be sharing whenever items arrive. The first one is either going to be Guz stickers or the sticker books because I've already ordered those out of pocket. Keychains are likely to be the last non-plush unboxing due to production and shipping times.
- Convention announcements! Once the plush are in production I will be opening pre-orders like I normally do, so the prototypes will be doing a little more traveling. I will not be announcing shows without the prototypes, though. For that you will want to check out our convention schedule.
Some smaller announcements:
- Lairbrew is undergoing an update visually. Don't be alarmed if you see an icon you're not used to associated with it!
- I do lots of projects without crowd funding and have been holding back on announcing a couple for the Backerkit to be finished. Consider following us elsewhere if you want to see more new stuff!

Project Update: Fully Funded in Less than 1 Day!
Greetings Adventurers,
This morning, I launched the campaign, absolutely prepared that it would take upwards of a week or so to get fully funded, and as I occasionally checked throughout the day, between errands, I was just in disbelief to see the numbers that we've hit!
From the bottom of my heart: thank you!
I can't tell you how excited I am for this project to come to life.
I've been working on this for quite some time. This owlbear you see today isn't the first one I tried to design. My first one, I ended up scrapping, because it just wasn't what I wanted.
I wanted a super chonky owlbear but often times, sketching something doesn't always translate as well into the 3D world.
So - dejected and defeated, I put the project aside.
After a few months, waiting for inspiration to strike, these little critters came to me!
So, what now?
I have a stretch goal in store - it's not another color variant. It's an 'adventure-sized' Owlbear!
I won't reveal anything just yet. I'm working with my production company to get a sample finished before showing it off! I want to make sure things are all groovy before I share it with you guys. Hopefully, it won't take too long to get the simple sample finished!

So I've got a question: In a lot of the pictures the bears seem to have Heterochromia, but in others they seem to have the same color eyes. So I'm curious what the final product will have?
