Before we continue with news of Willow’s adventure, I first must titillate thou with but a tease of things yet to come. SUCCESS! With a 15 total (12+3) thy words ring powerfully and thy hex strikes true, the pisky loses her grip on the enchantment and turns upon you in a rage. A curse dances upon her lips for a moment, but her conjuration is cut suddenly and violently short with a loud thunderous clap. Warm viscera sprays across thy face, and clearing thy eyes you see the large brutish creature peeling apart its meaty hands in the space where the pisky once floated.Β 

You and the figure hold for a tense moment, before the large figure bows its head in a manner most courtly. It silently moves to a space behind a nearby tree and retrieves the β€œlantern” the pisky had mentioned, which upon reveal looks to be little more than a mundane crystal flask obfuscated in a now fading glamour. It squeezes its blood soaked hands into the flask, and the sparkling remains of the once delicate pisky drain into it. It hands you the flask (ITEM DISCOVERED: Phial of Pisky Blood - Details below), and points in the opposite direction to one the pisky had indicated. A low rumbling voice echos from the helm, telling you the hag has many tricksters in her employ, and that this pisky was merely the beginning. It then speaks a final 4 exhausted, but grateful, words:

You could rummage amongst its remnants within, searching for clues or items that could illuminate or aid you. Or you could press onward, ignoring the vestige of kingdoms fallen, and give thyself the best chance at finding a safe spot to rest…
