Faerie introduces a brand new class for 5e, The Witch. Witches are casters that use a unique form of spellcasting called the Magic of Rite, allowing them to cast spells using Mystic Marks rather than spell slots. These marks can be used by witches to both cast their elder magics, as well as weave sigils into their spells to alter their very nature. A witch also needs a coven, and Faerie has two to offer: The Coven of the Familiar, granting witches a bolstered companion to aid in battle and magic, and the Coven of the Hex, which entrusts powers of curse and bane to its members. Stepping into the world of Faerie unveils more than just myth, it is also home to 2 new playable lineages, and 10 new subclasses. Maybe you will take on the guise of your prey as the shapeshifting Fetch rogue, bring doom and decay to the living as the Circle of Blight druid, or champion the elder magics with blade and spell as a Witch Knight fighter.
And what lineage will you be? Perhaps a Hagborn, children who survived their part in a deadly hag’s ritual but are forever changed by it. Or maybe you will be an Etterkin, spiderfolk native to the lands of Faerie, weavers of legendary silk, skulkers of only the darkest places.
Navigating the violent world of kingdoms and war that the realm of Faerie is means navigating the various courts and kingdoms that claim stake to its lands, as well as the conniving Fey that control them. In Faerie you’ll find a new progression system for DMs & Players in the form of the new Fealty System. Fealty is an in-depth but easily accessible system of renown, that allows players to gain the aid of the courts they assist as well as the bloody ire of those they denounce. As a band of heroes gains renown within a court, by defeating its enemies or impressing its nobility, their fealty score increases. As their fealty score increases they unlock new titles, class specific seasonal powers, and access to a variety of Court Favours. These court specific favours can be used by players to summon the aid of their patron court in a moment of crisis, scorch the earth with magical firepower, or to bolster them for encroaching danger.
All is to play for in the game for Faerie, but will your party survive long enough to play their hand?
There can never be too many monsters, but their can definitely be too few. 5e presents only a small selection of fey creatures to torment players with, but no longer; Within Faerie GMs can find over 100 new and improved fey creatures and NPCs born from the myth and folklore of the British Isles. Some are monstrous, some are conniving, all are just waiting for your players to step off the treaded path and fall deep into the lands of Faerie!

Faerie is planned for distribution in Summer 2025. During the process of production, you can expect monthly updates detailing the process as we put together the book and physical goods. Any adjustments or changes will be conveyed in said updates, as will all milestones. You will receive early-release material to play and playtest, along with regular looks at art and design aspects. The Dragons Vault has partnered with multiple distribution centres in both the US and UK to ensure affordable and smooth delivery of all goods to as many places as possible.

Refunds are available up to 7 days from the end of the campaign. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds on collected pledges after that date.
