Project Update: Update: Status/Progress (as things currently stand!)

Hey all - Tapping in again for an update. I apologize if anything is unclear - I caught a bit of con crud coupled with some mild food poisoning right after NYCC,. I’m doing my best to work coherently but the resident headache and nausea is making it a bit difficult, so this has taken multiple days to write… but I owe y’all this update (it’s late, I know), as I’ve been trying to shake these samples/timetables out of the manufacturer for months.

As of right now, the manufacturer has promised to send the finalized samples with the next “next” shipment (which is what they told me just before NYCC, with the last shipment coming in right after). I was waiting for some sort of timeline, and as a set of packages finally just arrived on Thursday, it’s finally looking like that timetable is being realized. I’m hoping to see these final samples in the middle of the coming month, and if not, I’ve told them they need explain what's happening, or to send funds back or I’ll start talking to the bank to get money back if there’s no progress.

This is obviously… way longer in production than anything I’d ever expect (far past a year and many months with this manufacturer for this pin with no final sample, then the months prior with the manufacturer before that), and I’m including all of my attempts to get these updates. I’ve been hit by a lot of dismissals and reasons as to why there have been delays, but even in the scope of my pin-making career, this has been ridiculous.

Project Update: Update: Continued Production Notes (Plus Long Screenshot Exhaustion)

Hey all - I'd mentioned in stories/social updates that I'd get this out before AX, but I got a little eaten alive by the event and only managed the update for Purrtagonists, since that was also on the docket. I greatly apologize that I'm just posting this - I was delaying on my end because it always felt like a firm update that I'd wanted (the silver design) was just about to arrive which is what I'd promised, so I kept waiting for it... and here we are, far later than intended.

There is firm progress and we're into screenprinting, but it's nowhere near where I wanted to be (which was months ago, with completed samples).

What is going on?!?

What the hell guys, it’s been over a year! Pintopia 2024 is wrapping up and we’ve still not heard anything from you! Where are the pins we’ve paid for? Any communication at this point would be better than we’ve had so far!
