I have asked for photos so hopefully I should have those sooner than later (my Manu isn't big on photos, It's just bam they're done and shipped which has its pros and cons hah)

Hi all! Hope you've been doing well! I just wanted to pop in with a bit of an update! Most of the pins are here and I wanted to share pictures and give you a bit of a timeline update now that things are getting closer to shipping on my end.
Before I get into that, I just wanted to also share off my next campaign which will be launching this March! This collection is a bunch of deep sea critters, and if you're interested you can follow along HERE
Anyway, onto the updates you came here for!
Locking Orders
Since I have a majority of items in hand, I'm going to be locking orders this Friday January 17th. This means you'll be unable to make any adjustments to your selections. Afterwards on Monday January 20th I'll be charging cards. Ensure your shipping address is up to date and you have a valid card on file! Below you can find pictures of most of the finished pins for you to make any final adjustments as needed!
Egg Of Innocence
Unfortunately this pin did not turn out how I expected. From the suppliers photos I thought it would be okay, but once getting into my hands I realized the effect that I wanted didn't come through at all. The contrast with the Dyed Metal made the effect really dark, making it near impossible to see the half raised metal, looking like just a circle or a blob. I've attached some photos to show what I mean.
As such, I've decided to reproduce this pin with different colors. I'm planning On getting this pin made with Rose Gold Enamel and a lighter translucent color to better contrast the effect. This was my first time trying soft enamel/dyed metal with this effect, and I think the colors just blended too much together, which is why I'm opting for a hard enamel solution. I've produced this effect with other pins before in Hard Enamel and it's looked much better. I posted an example of a previous pin below to get an idea on what I was going for.
I apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment with the color changes, I figured this would be the best solution to get an end product I'm happy and confident enough to give out to you guys. If you're unhappy with this adjustment you can do one of the following:
Update your survey to switch to a different mini pin option if you're disinterested in this one after the changes
If you really want one of the original orange ones, I'm more than happy to give them out. Please send me an email at [email protected]just saying that you want one of the orange eggs and I'll make a note on your order. Just please understand this is not up to my usual standards and the effect is really difficult to see!
Eater of Worlds
I'm using a different supplier to get these pins done, and as such they haven't shipped yet. I'm hoping they'll be complete soon, I'm really excited to get them into my hands! Here's an update on the completed sample of both colors, I'm super stoked with how they turned out :) Because these were more complex pins I wanted to spend additional time ensuring I got it looking great, and hope you'll be happy with it too! I'll provide another update when this design is in my hands so I can take pictures in my own lighting
Everything Else!
Here are all the other pins that turned out great! I had to take indoor pics since it's painfully cold out, hopefully you understand :) Also apologies for the messy room, I'm doing some reorganization and everything is a mess haha! I'm going to be working on grading and packaging these pins in the next couple of days! Also remember the rainbow plating has different color variations per pin design!

Wanted to toss in another small update. I've gotten just about everything ordered now and in the processes of being made. All that's left to get now is all the shipping materials I'll need to get these cats to you! This means I'll now be charging your cards for shipping and any add-ons you've added. I'll get to doing that sometime tomorrow afternoon/evening.
I've also already been thinking of future campaigns. I have a few in mind and yes, they're all cat themed! >w< I hope to announce more once I've gotten a good solidness to the ideas and I hope you'll look forward to seeing what else I can create!

I wanted to make a quick update to let you all know that the pins have been ordered! I've sent in a few tweaks to the manufacturer and now that's done I expect they'll be making the samples very soon.
I've also ordered all the stickers. So now the only things left I have to order are the prints and backing cards, along with things like shipping supplies and such.
Upcoming campaign
Quick announcement about my next campaign Cryptid Crushes - I had originally told you all that I was going to be participating in Pintopia 2025 which is launching later this month (January). However, due to a few reasons, the biggest being timing, I've decided not to run this project during Pintopia.
Cryptid Crushes will instead be launching in March of this year as part of Oddities and Obscura, a smaller collective of artists, including but not limited to some of the same artists that participated in Mementos Mori.
I will be cross-collaborating with UltraInfinite who will be running a monster-themed pin set as well, and much like I did with Monster Match and BloodLust, we will be collaborating to bring incentives to folks who back both our campaigns, as well as for people who back multiple campaigns amongst Oddities and Obscura.
Hi, I just noticed I haven’t been charged for the add on pins I ordered. If you’re not there yet it’s totally fine, but I know you said you’d lock surveys a few weeks ago, so I want to make sure I didn’t do something wrong with my add on order that caused it to not be charged. Thanks!
Hope your holidays have been, and are continuing to be, warm, cozy, and restful. Thought I'd pop in and keep you all updated by saying the pins have been ordered!! And with the coming of the new year, I'll be ordering all the stickers, standees, and the magnets too! I'm excited to get these all in hand so that I can send them to their new homes with all of you!
