I wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for exceeding all expectations for my very first Pintopia! I'm going to have a very busy couple of months getting my ducks in a row for backer surveys, ordering items, and packaging up your rewards.
I wasn't expecting to hit $16K, but the overtime backers really stepped up at the end of the campaign! Deluxe edition pins will have added special effects, like glitter or glow in the dark pigments, and be available for +$3 during the post campaign surveys. I had originally planned for the 6th Deluxe pin to be the Arts and Crafts genre, but I've decided it'll be Backer's choice. You have until the end of the weekend to cast your votes!
What's next?
Today: Backerkit will be charging your cards soon, please keep an eye out to make sure the charge goes through! Sometimes payments fail, banks flag the charge, etc. and that can slow down the fulfillment process.
Next week: I'll send out another update about the Deluxe pins, with specific details about what/where special effect will be applied. I'm also hoping to open the Pre-Order store for this campaign by the end of next week. If you missed out on backing the campaign this will be your change to order Bookshelves for Bibliophiles specific items.
By the end of the month: The post-campaign surveys will be out! The survey is where you'll select the specific reward items you want, add-on additional items, and pay shipping fees. I'll send an additional update once the surveys are sent out.
Next month: I'll be working with my manufacturer to place the enamel pin order ASAP and start to order the addition stickers, prints, reading logs, etc. once I have counts for items. I'll keep y'all updated on manufacturing and share photos along the way as things are made.
Fulfillment: Rewards are currently scheduled to ship by September. It's very possible that things will run ahead of schedule, but this turned into a large project so it's also possible there will be delays. I'll keep y'all updated on the shipping timeline if anything changes.

My next project will be a small collection of pins celebrating queer perseverance. This project will be a triad collaboration with Arledge Comics Brick by Brick and Geek Hive Labs Queer North: New Horizons campaigns. Both of these creators were also participants in Pintopia and we're looking forward to offering backers even more freebies with this collaboration!
