Hey y'all, there's just under a week left for this campaign! If you know anyone who might be interested in the campaign, now is a great time to share it with them. Today's update is mostly about add-on items.
Deluxe Edition Pins Updates
I expect funding to fluctuate between now and the end of the campaign, so I can't grantee which Deluxe pins will be unlocked until it ends. These are my current plans for special effects on the first five deluxe pins. I'm currently looking through my manufacturer's glitter/glow options to select the most fitting effects.
Fantasy Deluxe Pin: glitter added to the dragon and some of the artifacts on the shelves.
Banned Books Deluxe Pin: glitter and glow in the dark effects added to the caution tape
Horror Deluxe Pin: glitter added to red sections and glow in the dark effects added to white sections.
Science Fiction Deluxe Pin: Glitter added to light gray sections and glow in the dark added to the alien.
LGBTQ+ Deluxe Pin: No effects, double the colors! Secondary colors added to replace gray on the books.
Reading Log Update - "To be Read" tracker!
I've been working on building the "Book Log for Bibliophiles" reading tracker add-on and it's 90% of the way done! Today I wanted to share the "To be Read Shelf" will be able to accommodate up to 50 books. The graphic on the list is a collection of 50 books from the ten original genres of the campaign. Each book is numbered to match the list on the right, that way you can color them as you add and/or read more books. The Book Log for Bibliophiles is now available in the "add-ons" section of the campaign.
Art Prints
I really liked how the TBR shelf turned out, so I've colored it in and shaded it for art prints. These prints will be professionally made in 4"x6" and 8"x10" sizes on a lightly textured hemp cardstock. These items have been added to the "Add-Ons" section of the campaign, so you can now add them to your pledge. "Library" and "Complete Collection" backers will be receiving an 8"x10" art print for FREE!
Updates on Other Projects
My next project will be Floral Pride | LGBTQ+ Enamel Pin Campaign will be launching next month! This will be a small collection of colorful pins centered around queer perseverance. This campaign will be a collaboration with Arledge Comics' Brick by Brick campaign and we're planning some freebies for backers of both projects. Arledge Comics is also participating in Pintopia with their Spirits in the Woods campaign - go check them out!
The pre-order store is now open for my recent Gender Affirming Healthcare Advocacy Pin project on Kickstarter. I'm offering these pins at a low price than usual and also have mini pins, stickers, and magnets available. The pre-order storefront for these items will be live on Backerkit until the end of February.
