Project Update: Updated Art & Interior Previews
Just wanted to share with everyone some updates. First, there's some updated art, so the mockups look a little more accurate to the "saddle stitched A5-zine" description. I am super grateful to the artist, Attila Nagy, for working with my last minute requests to get those corrected.
The internal sample pages now also show a redesigned map after getting some editing done and bringing it in line with the overall aesthetic of the project.
One of the big editing priorities going forward is going to be getting the stat blocks to be a little more in-line with the OD&D. It's a bit of a weird state the project is currently in (but also, OD&D was in a bit of a weird state for most of its existence). The enemies borrow a lot from the 1977 Monster Manual - which is an AD&D core book that was released for OD&D use - while combat borrows heavily from just the 1974 booklets. I'm still figuring out how much I want to lean "later OD&D" (which is, in a lot of ways, almost AD&D) or "earlier OD&D" (which is not as cross-compatible with other OSR books).
If you have strong feelings about this, let me know! Tell me what you like and don't like about the just 3 LBBs, OD&D + Supplements, OD&D + Supplements + Articles, and AD&D.
And finally, we've come absolutely amazingly far even since my first update, so I wanted to thank you all again for your support!
