George Francis Bickers has been playing games and creating worlds for as long as he can remember. Founding Three Sails Studios in 2021, he is currently working on Mappa Mundi - An Exploration + Ecology RPG, a TTRPG inspired by medieval maps and travel chronicles, set in a fragile world teeming with life on the edge of a mass extinction (due for crowdfunding February 2025), alongside two additional TTRPG projects and a board game project. Carlo Parlato, director of Olmina Games, born in Naples in 1987, is the creative mind who has shaped the world of board games with his magnum opus, Galactica Conquest. His passion for astronomy and science fiction drove him to create a game that transcends Earth’s boundaries. Stellar Origins: Growing up amidst the pages of Isaac Asimov and the intergalactic chessboards of Arthur C. Clarke, Carlo developed a curious mind and a love for the unknown. From an early age, he sketched star maps and invented alien races in his school notebooks. Quantum Leap: During his computer science studies, Carlo discovered the world of modern board games. His passion for software design merged with his thirst for cosmic adventures. Carlo’s artistic expression spans painting, sculpture, and digital design. His unique approach blends natural forms with cosmic themes. Cosmic Legacy: His works found homes in private collections and museums. His legacy lives on through Galactica Conquest, where players explore the cosmos and forge their destinies.

I am an independent game developer innovating with hybrid game models creating tabletop games and digital games. My startup company is Hideaway Studio with a small team of specialists pioneering the future of gameplay through a principled architecture interconnected to responsible game design. I am personally committed to creating games that contribute positively to the ethical and moral development of individuals and delivering uplifting interactions for children. I also enjoy consulting as a Technology Leader, helping to guide teams in executing innovative products that immerse and support the end-user.
