We always knew that starting a crowdfunding campaign right before Christmas with no pre-collected list of backers was a long shot. But we wanted to take the chance in the hope that we'd learn a lot and make some like-minded friends. And we did! We're thrilled this campaign introduced us to YOU!

Hello Spicy Gamers!!

Our crowdfunding campaign on BackerKit has two weeks left! And we want to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who has supported MASTER OF INNUENDO so far. We've been busy behind the scenes continuing to playtest and learn. At one of our recent playtests, we got the best compliment about our last game:

One player said the gameplay feels like a next-level version of Cards Against Humanity. Wha?!!!

We love this for 2 reasons. 1) We LOVE Cards Against Humanity, and 2) this is exactly what we set out to do when we created the rules! While we do love playing fill-in-the-blank games like CAH, we know that YOU can be just as funny as the pre-written cards all on your lonesome. We felt that if we gave you the tools, you'd come up with more hilarious innuendo titles than we could. And the best part is, playtests have proved us right. We've laughed out loud at the naughty and oh so creative new movie titles of early players. We can't wait until the game is on shelves and everyone can discover this for yourselves. In the meantime, we hope you're finding out by playing our Print & Play Mini MOI with friends.

The other thing we've been doing is learning, and I'll be completely honest: As first-time game creators doing their first crowdfunding campaign, there has been a HUGE learning curve. We've been tweaking the campaign page, running Facebook ads, and researching all the ways we can get word out about this game. But we'd love to hear from YOU!

Happy New Year!

Over the holidays, we continued playtesting with our home made Master Of Innuendo prototype and got even more fantastic feedback! One player said the game is going to be "a hit!" Another said she "couldn't stop laughing." And others loved that they could use multiple Innuendo Cards and the Party Cards to fill in the movie title blanks so they could get really creative with their titles. We were impressed by their sauciness.

Even better, the playtesting led us to some fun tweaks: We've now renamed the Party Cards to be "Edit Cards", keeping more with the movie title theme. And with the Edit Cards, players can now add AND/OR delete certain words in the Title Cards so there are even more opportunities for players to get creative.

We've also named the point players win for having the best innuendo title the "Critic's Choice Point", and the bonus point for knowing the actual movie title is now called the "Encore Point"!

We're still playtesting and we'd LOVE to hear from you. Pop your email in the yellow box on our home page. And we'll send you the Mini MOI version of the game so you can play at home. The Mini MOI has all the titillating fun just with fewer cards, so you can easily print it at home without too much paper. (We might play naughty, but we're all about saving trees here.)
