They say you should only ever compete against yourself, they've never specified whether that includes your double.
Welcome, to Night Vale.

We know you're all buzzing to hear about how our little competition is going, but first let's take a look at the accomplishments you've achieved this week.

This week we surpassed 5,000 backers, which is a spectacular number, it means that statistically speaking at least two of you have the same birthday. See if you can find and defeat your birthday twin in the comments! 

We've also managed to raise more than $425,000 which means that we've unlocked the Spotted Drake, and now only have 5 stretch goals left before we get to our ultimate goal of an Actual Play. 

And now the carrot we've been dangling, you've all been working very hard to poke and prod your friends, families, enemies, and dogs into joining our little town.
