Project Update: Update 29: Preparing to Ship, Stretch Goal Progress, and Reminders
Hey Last Piners,
I got confirmation last week that the books arrived at IPR's warehouse, along with a small number of them going straight to me. We're working to get everything set up with IPR so I can put in shipping costs. Once those are in, we'll wait a week to charge cards so you have notice. I'm working to figure out the shipping backend stuff on Backerkit so that the process goes as smoothly as possible. Once everything is updated in IPR's system, I'll also be putting the PDFs on Bits and Mortar, which is something I'm very excited about. There's no reason why you shouldn't get the digital edition along with the physical if you pick it up in a brick and mortar LGS.
I picked up the pamphlet hunts last week as well, and they look great! That means that all physical items are ready for fulfillment -- books, pamphlet hunts, stickers, and post cards.

Other updates:
- Eli has been plugging away at the new maps and they are looking great. I can't wait to show them off.
- 11 people still need to complete their surveys. Please do so as soon as possible!
- 3 cards have errored. I will retry the cards this week, but you may need to update your card information if your card has been declined.
For international backers, I did confirm that IPR does not pay VAT/import fees. Once I get the final shipping rates from them, I will be able to make decisions about ways to potentially cut some costs. This campaign has been a major lesson learned for me and next time around, I'll definitely be looking at alternate options for international backers.
That's all I've got for now. Let me know what questions you have for me!
