It's Indigenous People's Day here in the States and Thanksgiving in Canada. These are two holidays that always make me feel like Autumn has officially arrived. On top of that, the air is crisp in Wisconsin and the leaves are starting to change. It's the right temp to start wearing nice cozy sweaters. This is my favorite time of year.
Firstly, this weekend I will be at Gamehole Con in Madison, WI. I'll be running a handful of sessions of Bump and Hunters, Inc. Some of them still have space, so if you're in the area, please consider coming to the con and signing up! It would be great to meet you!
Just wanted to give a heads up of where we're at with fulfillment:
Everything that has been paid for and we have an address for has been shipped.
I've been seeing a lot of photos on social media and in Discord of people's copies of Bump and the stickers and/or hunts. Keep 'em coming! It's so cool to see them out in the world!
The vast majority of fulfillment for North American backers is complete.
Europe and international fulfillment seems to be going a lot more slowly. A number of people have let me know that hunts have arrived but they're still waiting on their books. If that's the situation you're in, you're not alone.
Looking at some of the tracking information, it looks like the hurricane in Florida is likely impacting shipping. I appreciate everyone's patience and I will update you if there are any announcements related to that.
There are still a couple of folks who haven't completed their surveys and one errored card, so uhhhh if you happen to be reading this, which you probably aren't, you can still take care of that stuff.
Digital fulfillment:
Everyone should have access to the game digitally through BackerKit. If you don't know how to access it, you do so through your survey.
Digital copies also went out through DTRPG and itch, so you should have received those already.
The game is being updated on Role. Anyone who already owned the game on Role will automatically updated to the Revised Edition, but keys will be (or should have already?) gone out as well.
Digital stretch goals will be going out before Halloween.
Finally, as a remember, we are hosting Cold Iron Blues: A Bump in the Dark Supplement Jam throughout October and November. The jam functions similarly to last year’s Iron Country Autumn jam and focuses on creating new supplements for Bump in the Dark, non-game stuff inspired by the game or setting, and original games based on Bump or Hunters, Inc. After the jam ends, participants can optionally have their entries part of a charity bundle to raise money for Native American health & wellness programming here in Milwaukee. The jam page goes over the guidelines and links to resources.
The optional prompt for the jam is the title: so anything having to do with cold, iron, blues the music genre, blue the color, etc. is fair game.
