In an effort to continue being transparent about our fulfillment of this campaign, we wanted to keep you informed on some recent developments here at Dragonsteel!
Fulfillment for the Words of Radiance Leatherbound Campaign continues and we’ve begun shipping rewards for the $325 tier! However, due to the large amount of orders our store received on Light Day, progress will slow down as we tackle both our campaign pledges and our store orders. Additionally, we’ve had some illness among our team—and even a water main break last week—that slowed our progress. You’ll see that the progress bars on Brandon’s website have been updated to show both the Words of Radiance campaign and Light Day shipping progress, so keep an eye out there!
Additionally, since we will be unable to ship all tiers before the holidays, we have included a free printable below if you are gifting your pledge to a friend or family member.
Shipping Reminder
We will have three fulfillment shipping waves:
Wave 1: This is the shipping wave we are working on now. This wave will ship all rewards from campaign reward tiers, except for any rewards related directly to the new secret project. We are shipping in order from the largest to the smallest tiers with relevant tier rewards ($650→$325→$250).
Wave 2: This wave will begin after Wave 1 ends. This wave will ship all add-on rewards, except for any rewards related directly to the new secret project. This includes all plushies, coin holders, license plate holders, Way of Kings Prime or leatherbound book, and any other rewards listed as add-ons in your survey. This also includes all pre-orders that were placed after the initial campaign closed. We now expect this wave to ship in early 2025.
Wave 3: This wave will ship mid 2025, and will contain all Secret Project related rewards.
If you receive a shipment and are worried that you are missing an item, or haven’t received a shipment that you thought you would have received at this point, please refer to these waves to check to see if the item or shipment is a part of an upcoming wave.
Our team is busy packing shipments and gearing up for Dragonsteel Nexus 2024, but in the meantime keep sharing your unboxing photos and videos of your rewards. We love to see them!
