Today's faction showcase is the main threat of the novel and the ones who currently rule Batesian - The Pyrelords.
The final rains of destruction weathered the lands beyond. The Mirenscar was shattered as it always was and the dragons now raged their battles in clear view. As he stood there, taking in both ash and cinder, he knew what had to happen. What he had to do.
The fires of a Pyrelord do not just burn, it engulfs. Their power is the easiest to come across but also the hardest to control. Fire has a mind of it's own, it eats everything in it's path. No matter the size, fire will always try.
The Pyrelords represented this and so seized the chance they had been given. Through might and mind they took down the factions they could find and broke the hope within the land. This is where they claimed power, this is where they engulfed Batesian.
