It has been a wonderful first week, and we just unlocked our very first Stretch Goal/Achievement! This adds the Sensor Greebles to all STL pledges!
Greebles, aka nurnies, are the kit bashed parts of a model that create the illusion of detail. For example, imagine the surface of a Star Destroyer from Star Wars - if it was just a simple wedge shape, we would lose the sense of scale, but by adding tons of smaller parts on top, the surface begins to look more interesting and convey a sense of the vessel's size.
The collection we have started with came from the creation of the Valkyria's antennae attachments. We quickly realised that we could make a wide variety options that could fit into any OpenLOCK or Supporty Clip slot (the clip systems we use to connect the printed parts without glue).

The Valkyria demonstrates how the Sensor Greebles can work
The compatibility with OpenLOCK and supporty clip slots allows a lot of combinations and options, and is a great way to add a sense of scale, asymmetry or can literally be glued on where you like. We'll include a few mounts and expansion options as well.
The nose of the larger ships includes a few slots we left available. In addition to the sensors above, we'd love to do optics and get a few more ideas from the community, so if you have some suggestions, maybe we could make even more!

We will be back tomorrow to reveal some additional stretch goals, but in the time being, once again, truly thank you for your support!
