Look, I'm not usually a post-every-five-minutes kind of guy but there's a LOT going on and I'm eager to share (don't think I didn't notice you all being funny and trying to tie my next pin reveal)!! You can still vote on that poll for another 2 days before the results are fiNAL. (I'm going to attach it to the bottom of this update don't fret).
But seeing as you're all giving me a good laugh about it and really working hard on this next MEDUSA stretch goal. I'm ~cheating~ and unlocking MEDUSA's Add-On & Reward Tier $20 eARLY because I know some of you are waiting for me to release her.

Hehehe, yes friend. I do. I had hoped to get these before the campaign launched so that folks would be able to get a real feel for the pins before making your pledges. I'm just happy now that we received them yesterday so I can show off what both APOLLO and ARTEMIS will look like:
So all the darker, non-black portions of the designs are recessed metal! It gives them such a nice texture I'd originally avoided in my early pin designing but since I created my Seven Deadly Pins I'm a little bit addicted to the vibe they give.
I went with rose gold for the metal x the black enamel to play up a bit of that 'pottery' feel to my Greek pins. A lot of folks aim for the white marble aesthetic which can be quite stunning but this, for me, felt a bit closer homage-wise to what we know antiquity best for: its pottery <3 It also matches the foil on the covers for Myth Retold which you can also pick up on this campaign! Yippee!
We're honestly making great progress, everyone. I'm constantly floored by the response to my design work. It's something I'm pretty self-taught in so I'm always over the moon when they resonate (if you'll pardon my pun).
We still have 15 days to unlock 3 more designs!! I think we can do it! To be honest, I think we can get to unlocking Dionysus by the end of the week hehe. I'm feeling Optimistic. I'm feeling Energized! Lets keep this ball rolling!
