I’m happy to announce that I received the Joyus Toyus Kidd Krampus prototype in the mail recently! Although it arrived long after the original promised date, I’m just grateful it finally came.
To be honest, my emotions were mixed when I opened it. After months of fighting for this design and seeing it evolve into a plush that’s nearly perfect to my vision, it’s still entangled in a mess caused by another business. Even though I should feel nothing but joy for this milestone, it’s hard not to feel weighed down by the situation.
Thankfully, I have a fantastic partner who reminded me how important Krampus is. This little guy represents months of hard work—from design and marketing to follow-through—not to mention the constant fight for the design and the mid-project pivot. Kidd Krampus is a beacon, born out of tireless effort and care. Once this prototype is back in my hands, I’ll treasure it, even if its story is a little shadowed. I won’t let that tarnish how awesome he is.
This prototype is the most recent version, and I’ve already sent it to our new factory to finalize the design! 🎉

I’ve ordered your Krampus sticker packs and decided to mix things up by creating a sticker sheet! It includes some extra holiday stickers for you to play around with. Give Kidd a bow or poinsettias, or use them on your holiday cards.
📬 Locking Addresses 📬
I won’t lock addresses until we have the new Krampus prototype finalized. It should arrive at the new factory around October 8th, and they usually work quickly, so we’ll be on our way soon.
🕯️ Monty Mothman 🦋
Monty is still being prototyped. In the meantime, I’m re-learning 3D modeling to hopefully speed up future plush pattern creation. My designs are very specific, and I think this will help the process all around. I’m also designing add-on rewards like pins and stickers and preparing the BackerKit page with all the necessary graphics.

If you are wondering why this Monty looks different than the teaser Monty in the previous update, the teaser Monty was actually a Photoshopped version I created to show what changes needed to be made, for the factory designers. This version is direct from the factory.
