📦 Shipping Charges 📦
Since I have received samples of every add-on item as well as the plush, I was able to set up the weights and calculate shipping costs. This took a bit longer than expected, which is why there was a delay in collecting shipping from you. However, now that everything is accounted for, shipping was officially charged on Thursday. Most of you had successful transactions, giving you an email like this:
However, if your shipping charge payment failed, you received an email that starts like this:
The failed payment email provides a direct link to verify and/or update your payment information. Once updated, your card will be charged again and you should be all set! Of course, if you have further issues, please respond to that email and you'll get the help that you're looking for. 😊
🐐 Kidd Krampus 🔔
As of right now, Kidd has had all of his sewn safety labels made and he is passing through safety testing. Currently there is a control group being sent through the safety process, so he may take an extra day or so, but he is currently in line! 🎉 I've also been keeping close contact with the factory, and they will be shipping Krampus out in batches, so that I can receive him more quickly and then mail him to you even more quickly. They've really been doing a fantastic job catching up on the plush process, despite coming in with such a short timeline, and I'm so grateful for them.
I've also been working on getting Krampus' hang tags printed, but I think I'll keep those designs a surprise for you to look forward to when opening your very own Kidd Krampus Plushpanion! 💚

I am excited to get my Kidd Krampus, but I'm confused and upset by what appears to be a lot of confusion over my Pledge! I am Backer #144. I received an email saying that the plush had not been paid for because my credit card had been rejected, and when I went to click to see if I could pay the outstanding bill, there was no option to doso. To confuse things, my bank says it's paid for! Please help!

🎊 Lock Addresses and Charge Cards for Shipping! 🎊

NOVEMBER 17th, 2024
Once all addresses are confirmed, I will be charging cards for shipping on the following weekend. The date may vary, because I have a Krampus Yule Market in Baltimore I will be attending that weekend, but it will certainly be after Friday the 22nd. If you have moved and need to update your address, or if you aren't sure and need to confirm your shipping address, please email me at [email protected] with your request before November 17th! I have also sent survey completion reminders to 11 people who have not completed their surveys yet. If you are one of those people and you were withholding due to a potential address change, the time to lock in your survey is now.

For me, it's time to order boxes to fit your little fellas and Krampus goodies! Then, once the final fixes are made, Kidd Krampus will be carted off to a safety testing facility, to ensure he's good to go for nationwide and international shipments. Once approved, we can complete the plush batch, and they will be mailed to me, to be mailed to you!
I'm hopeful that he will be home to you in time for the holidays, but worst case scenario, he might be arriving closer to the New Year. With that said, I am amazed we caught up and stayed very close to our original timeline. Considering everything we have been through with this naughty little guy, and that Joyus Toyus has still not refunded me fully ( worry not, I'm taking care of it! ) I am enthralled with how Kidd turned out and thankful for all of your patience and support throughout my first ever crowdfunding campaign! 💚 I really could not have done it without all of the love and support from you good people, family, friends, and our new factory, with whom we are currently working on the Monty Mothman prototype!

🖼️ Sticker Sheets 🖼️
Your Krampus and Cryptids sticker sheets have arrived! I couldn’t resist adding a sticker of the new Plushpanions™️ logo to the cryptid sticker sheet. If you’re not a fan, feel free to recycle the sticker (and the sticker sheet)! There’s no PVC covering, so they’re entirely plastic-free and paper-recyclable. ♻️
Apologies for the slight delay! The factory has been working quickly on final fixes, so I thought I’d have the final Kidd Krampus prototype for you today, but it’s looking like next week. In the meantime, just look at this little guy!
I’ve included a mix of photos to show you the current prototype and some of his lovely props, as well as reference images for the final tweaks. The latest sample on the left only needs a few updates: adjusting the eyebrow color, repositioning the hair (the small spike should be where the larger one is), and refining the hooves. This pattern is complex, so I’m collaborating closely with the designer on the final shapes. Otherwise, he looks adorable! Check out the Bag O’ Mischief and magnetic Branches! The branches will have a firm backing to stay upright and maintain Krampus’ signature look.

In the older sample below on the left, we were working on the eye color, which is why it’s a darker yellow here. The main takeaway, though, is Krampus' luxurious GRS fabric cloak, which I think looks luxurious and classic. This prototype version also has more intimidating side horns, which adds a fittingly powerful look for Krampus. Additional notes: the bell color will be slightly warmer, and the tongue will have more definition.

I also wanted to take a moment to show a brief overview of how far we've come - and I really mean brief! While I am working on a short montage of samples, here is a basic image summary. Below is the prototype where we started, and here we are now. Prototyping is a lot of back-and-forth, you really have to know and advocate for your design. I have learned a lot and I have already put a lot of the knowledge gained from Krampus, into Monty Mothman!

I'm excited to announce that I’ve started the initial planning for the Monty Mothman eco plush BackerKit campaign. This project is scheduled to launch on January 23rd, coinciding with Pintopia: Pins n' Plushies Edition! Pintopia is a BackerKit event that offers lots of cross-collaboration and exclusive goodies when you support two or more projects. While we don’t have specifics on Mothman goodies yet, they’re in the works! 🚧
