Hello backers, I've been getting a few repeat questions so I wanted to highlight some information you might have missed in the previous update. And I have an important development regarding the Design Request angels.
FAQs
Should backers order from the preorder store? If you are a campaign backer, do not order from the preorder store, you will end up paying for shipping twice.
When will surveys be sent? We are waiting two weeks after the end of the campaign to send the surveys so Backerkit can assign incentives and cross-collab pins in the survey. Once two weeks is up, surveys will go out; so expect surveys sometime around August 3.
Which items are not finalized? I am only making artwork for lanyards that get funded since there's too many designs to make artwork for all of them; patches are subject to change depending on colors and complexity; and some of the pin sizes are not finalized but the artwork is final.
What will the lanyards be like? They would be similar to the lanyards I have in my shop (with a silver clasp and made of polyester, photos here). Each flag’s lanyard would have a unique design with additional elements that fit the theme of its angel. For example, the Bisexual Angel lanyard might have elements of circuitry or neon glow to fit with the cyberpunk theme.
When will we be charged? You should have been charged when the campaign ended. If you do not fix your payment by August 3 you will be removed from the campaign. You will be charged for addons and shipping when the surveys close on August 12.
If an item doesn't meet its goal, are we still charged for it? If an item doesn’t reach its goal it will be removed and you will not be charged for it.
Can we add to our pledge in the survey? Yes, there is an addons section where you can add to your pledge. Please read the Survey section for more information.
Can we change our shipping address? Before items are ready to ship you’ll get an email reminder to update your address. You can change it any time before then.
Design Request Removed
The following design (alternate Pangender) has been removed from the survey, preorder store, and Pride Angels roster since its sponsor rescinded their Design Request. If you already ordered it, it will be removed from your order. I am not planning to make any merch for this design or include it in the Pride Angels roster for future merch; but I will leave the artwork for it online so you may enjoy it there.
Missing Design Request
This means that there's another angel to be designed! However, the backer who has pledged for this Design Request slot has not gotten back to me. If you are this backer and you are reading this, please reply to the emails I have sent you.
In the event I don't hear from this backer in time, we would have only 59 Pride Angels, and of course I would rather have 60. So I am thinking of making a backup design to be the 60th Pride Angel. I think a fitting flag would be one of the old rainbow flags, however I'm not sure which one to use. So, let me know in this poll which you prefer!
