Hello Survivors,
The fulfillment machine is in motion. Let's see what that means in practice.
TL;DR: Shipments for North America and UK + ROTW are prepared. EU + Italy will be prepared this week. Read more about timelines in the full update.
FULFILLMENT HAS STARTED
The process of sending books, screens, dice and other accessories to the four corners of the world has begun. We organize shipments in 4 macro regions:
NORTH AMERICA
This region includes the United States and Canada. The pallet with all the physical rewards has been prepared and we now need to arrange a pick-up time with the freight forwarder. Everything is then loaded onto a giant ship. Once in the U.S., all of the packages are prepared and shipped from the eFulfillment hub in Michigan to the final destination. There are many steps involved, so I can't say exactly when things will be in your hands, but based on past experience we are looking at 45-60 days. I will post a more detailed timeline as soon as I have a better estimate.
The process is now as follows:
Pallet pickup from our warehouse (we are here)
Load everything onto a boat. Long sea voyage.
Arrival in the USA, customs clearance.
Transportation to Michigan.
Final packages are assembled and sent to your home.
EU + ITALY
We don't use a hub to prepare these packages and we do them one by one by hand. Work on this segment will begin this week. We'll probably be sending things out in batches, so sit back and relax, and when your package is on its way, you'll get a tracking number from the courier. I believe work will be completed within the next 3-4 weeks, possibly sooner.
UK + REST OF THE WORLD
These shipments include everything going to any other place on the planet and will go through our partner Zatu in the UK first. The pallet is ready and we need to arrange a pick-up with a freight forwarder. It doesn't take long to get the stuff to the UK, but sorting it is another matter. Depending on the bureaucracy in your particular country, it can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. This is especially true if you live in Australia or New Zealand. I'll have better estimates once the books are in the hub.
The process is now as follows:
Pallet pickup from our warehouse (we are here)
Transportation to the UK.
Arrival in the UK, customs clearance.
Transportation to Norwich.
Final packages are assembled and sent to your home almost in real time.
I'm still waiting for my personal delivery of books (I don't live near our warehouse) and will do a nice unboxing when I get them later this week.
ACTUAL PLAY, PART 1
Kritfayle has put together a 3-part Actual Play of Dead Air: Seasons, and here is the first Session of "The Price of Living". The three parts come in short, easy to watch Sessions, so if you want to get an idea of the kind of stories you can tell with the game, take a look.
THE DEAD AIR: SEASONS SUBREDDIT
One successful resource we have for Broken Tales is a subreddit where fans of the game can post their homemade material. There was no reason not to do the same for Dead Air: Seasons, as the game lends itself to documenting an incredible variety of situations and stories, depending on where you decide to set your stories. Read the rules for posting and check out the material already added by myself and community member Shivgorothar based on the game played on our Discord server.

UE + ITALIA Tutti i pacchi per l’Unione Europea e l'Italia sono fatti uno per uno a mano da noi. Il lavoro su questo segmento di backer inizierà questa settimana. E’ probabile che le spedizioni avvengano a scaglioni, quindi sedetevi e rilassatevi, e quando il vostro pacchetto sarà in arrivo, riceverete un numero di tracciamento dal corriere. L’idea è di completare il lavoro entro le prossime 3-4 settimane, anche prima se ci riusciamo.

Sto ancora aspettando la mia consegna personale dei libri (non vivo vicino al nostro magazzino) e farò un bell'unboxing quando li riceverò nel corso della settimana.

Una risorsa per Broken Tales che ha ottenuto un certo successo è un subreddit dove i fan del gioco possono pubblicare il loro materiale fatto in casa (in inglese). Non c'era motivo di non fare lo stesso per Dead Air: Seasons, poiché il gioco si presta a documentare un'incredibile varietà di situazioni e storie, a seconda di dove si decide di ambientare le proprie avventure.
