Project Update: Only 2 Goals to Go!
What a tremendous start to our campaign! In less than a week we have reached the majority of the stretch goals!
We are extremely thankful for everyone's support, and also buoyed with excitement as we begin our development on the next steps. We've already had a meeting discussing our art goals with Alysha, and next week she will begin producing more work to flesh out the Kindred even more. Jackson at Golden Dragon Games will be commencing sculpting on the first of the stretch goals soon as well, we are confident enough in the campaign to take those steps even if the campaign isnt finished.
One thing that has been extremely exciting to see is the few people who are already getting excited about the small snippets of lore we have shared, asking questions and discussing how kindred society might work in our discord and in comment threads - It really feels like the very first notes of intrigue and interest in a brand new world and setting. It is our dream to create something that fuels excited conversations, lore discussions, homebrew and fanfiction - And the start is this campaign.
We have JUST unlocked the Submariners
This is particularly exciting as from a hobbyists perspective, these models will really expand the range of possibilities for the kindred range. Many wargames that people may wish to proxy human scale infantry in often have light, lowly armored infantry as their bulk, and these submariners will make for a perfect contrast to the bulky heavily armored Kindred Scourges and Malformed.
IT STILL REALLY IS JUST THE START
What do we mean by this? - The next stretch goal to unlock is dedicated dev time, we've had several comments asking after the game, hopeful or hesitant about what it might entail - And while we have plans, and have had discussions, the reality is we cannot really answer this question at this stage as things may change drastically in development - After all, this campaign is not for "Tabletop Times Maybe Oneday Wargame" - It is for the kindred model range. This Dev time, for this campaign, will be focused on concentrated development and workshopping of the core principles of our future Wargame, finding what works, what doesn't, and experimenting with some of our more out there ideas. At the end of it, we hope to be able to properly answer the question.
If we manage to unlock that time, the final stretch goal we can see is the Kindred Landsub. The landsub has secret concept art because we've been workshopping it, back and forth, for several weeks. You see, it turns out creating a tabletop size appropriate (small enough for use in games) SUBMARINE that also DRIVES ON LAND and have that not look Completely and Utterly Ridiculous is a bit of a challenge. But we are honing in on a design we are happy with, and will share it with you likely mid next week.
WHAT THEN?
The question here becomes "What happens if we reach the final stretch goal?" - We honestly hadn't dared think about it. We will be discussing this internally, and make an announcement on plans if we draw close to the landsub. But rest assured, every bit raised in this project is supporting both the development of the Kindred and the long term survival of Tabletop Time as a whole.
We have a lot we want to cover, and several updates we wish to make, including the prospect of adding an 'add-on' commercial licenses as well as WIP content as it begins to be developed - However everything has happened so fast! Expect plenty of news and updates as the campaign progresses and we have more time in studio to react to the campaign as it unfolds! It has only been 3 workdays since the campaign was launched, its been a whirlwind, so once more, thankyou - Your support really means the world to us - We will be in further touch with more updates soon!

When we reach this goal, additional hours will be available so the TTT Team can begin development of their game system without it impacting our video production, schedule, or how grey our hair is too badly.
Goal: A$40,779
/ A$42,000
97%
We need A$1,221 more to reach this goal.
