A Twist of Fate - Part 3: The City of Thieves. Fenn strides confidently toward the towering walls of the City of Shadows. He tosses a grin over his shoulder. “Biggest den of thieves in the realm? I’ll fit right in.” As he navigates the crowded streets, a merchant with a colorful stand calls out to Fenn, waving a shiny trinket in his face. “Only the finest for a fine gentleman!” he exclaims, drawing Fenn’s attention just long enough for a cloaked figure to dart past and snatch the Fate Finder from Fenn’s belt. “Oi! Get back here!” Fenn snaps, tearing away from the merchant’s stand and racing after the thief. The figure darts through the bustling alley, weaving between barrels and crates, then clambers up a rickety ladder to the rooftops. Fenn follows, leaping across rooftops and scaling ledges, closing in on his quarry. Finally, he catches up to the thief teetering on the edge of a rooftop, just a breath away from leaping to another building. Fenn grabs his cloak and yanks him back, the thief skidding to a stop on the tiles. The Fate Finder glints in his hand as he stares at Fenn with a mix of defiance and fear. What does Fenn do?
