Project Update: Manufacturing Update #2 and More

The holiday season is a time for surprises, and today we have one for you – some amazing photos of Munchkin Big Box in all its glory!

We are grateful today that we can show you this beautiful – dare we say, pristine – production sample. Our printing partners have done an amazing job bringing the Big Box to life, and we’re also thankful for that!

“But,” you may be asking, “what does that mean for us?” It means that we are still on track to fulfill Big Box orders in early 2025. We’ll keep you posted on fulfillment details as we get closer. Stay tuned!

The Munchkin Road To Gen Con

On our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and Bluesky), we’ve written about our partnership with Double Exposure to bring Munchkin tournaments to select conventions across the country. Winners of these tournaments will receive a trophy . . . as well as a 4-day pass to Gen Con 2025 and entry into the first elimination round of the U.S. National Munchkin Championship! The next two tournaments will be held at:

Tabletop Oahu in Honolulu, Hawaii, on November 30, 2025
Midwinter Gaming Convention in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, on January 11, 2026

Second thoughts…

Initially I did not bite the bullet for the additional playmats - thought the price was too high and I’ve never used a playmat when I played so I thought it wasn’t necessary. …but the more I think about it, these are great tools for teaching the game to newbies… I didn’t spring for the additional playmats when I had the opportunity. Am I SOL? Or can I still purchase them?
