Project Update: Voidwall released
Backers should now have the digital files for Voidwall available on Backerkit. This is the final stretch goal for the Vergence crowdfunding project, so this will probably be the last update you'll receive.
I want to thank you again for your support of this project. It's been a blast! I hope you've enjoyed the core book and supplements for the game.
As always, please feel free to drop by the Small Cool Games Discord server for questions, to find players, drop play reports, or just say hello.

Greetings, Some dumb questions: 1. How do I download the supplements? I don't appear to have been sent a link or a code. If I'm reading things right, my backer levels gets me all of the supplements 2. Is there a plan to make them available in hardcopy? Perhaps a dingle POD book? 3. I can't find a link/code for the PDF of the core game either. Help? Thank you!
Project Update: Vergence update 3 August 2024
Here is what's up with the Vergence crowdfunding campaign:
- I received the final proof copy of the Vergence print-on-demand color hardcover from DriveThruRPG. It looks very good to me. I have sent an email to all POD-level backers, providing them with a code to purchase the book with either the color or black & white interior. The price is significantly different, so I think it's good for everyone to have a choice.
- I uploaded a newer version of the Otherworld supplement with a number of errors corrected. Please pretend the first version never existed.
- Now I am at work on the final stretch goal—the Voidwall supplement. I hope to have that out within a couple of months, which will finish up crowdfunding fulfillment.
Note that PDF copies of the Vergence core book and all supplements are available on itch.io. The physical core book is on DriveThruRPG for general purchase.
Thanks for your support!

Project Update: Vergence update 27 July 2024
I hope your summer is going great (or winter if you happen to live in the southern hemisphere). Here's what's happening with the Vergence crowdfunding campaign:
- Otherworld has been released! This supplement explores a place a place dreams become real, fragments of souls coalesce into physical form, and old gods linger from the First Days. It includes three new playbooks and a new challenge. It took me a while to get this right, but I'm very happy with how it came out. Otherworld should now be available to all backers to download from Backerkit.
- The final (I hope) proof of the color version of the Vergence print on demand color hardback should arrive soon from DriveThruRPG. Assuming it looks right (I really hope so), I will send out codes for all backers at the POD pledge level to order their books. I'm sorry this has taken so long, but proofing through DriveThru is very slow and I am not willing to put out a book that isn't of good quality.
- I'm now working on Voidwall, the final supplement and the last stretch goal.
Thanks for your support!

Project Update: Vergence update 27 June 2024
Here is what's happening with the Vergence crowdfunding campaign:
- I will need to continue to work with DriveThruRPG, and order a modified proof, to have a color hardcover book ready for print. I am sorry for the delay. It will be at least another 2–3 weeks.
- The B&W version of the hardcover book (with color cover) is now for sale on DriveThru. For POD backers, I will in the next few days be emailing you a code to purchase the B&W book for $14.31 US plus shipping. This is the minimum price allowed by DriveThru (none goes to me). If you don't get the email within a week, please check your spam filter for a message from [email protected].
- When the color hardcover is ready at DriveThru, I will send POD backers a purchase code for that version as well. Currently, DriveThru lists the minimum cost of the color book at $47.30 US (color printing is a lot more expensive). DriveThru could change that price between now and when the book is available, but that should give you a pretty good idea of the price differential between the B&W and color books, so you can decide whether you'd prefer to wait and order that one.
- I am still working on the Otherworld supplement. I hope to have that out in the next few weeks. After that, I'll start active development of Voidwall.
Thanks again for your support!
