Project Update: Artist Spotlight (Sean Martin)

We want to help promote our artists to our backers and follower community. We asked this artist a series of questions, hoping to inspire new artists to create more and offer the community a peek into who we are.

Today we feature Sean Martin the artist who created the book cover among other things.

 He started the interview with:

Ok here's my thing!  I do realize it may seem I'm not taking this
interview very seriously but, what is art if it isn't b@tsh*t.

We loved his answer and his comic book style of art. We have had the pleasure of working on multiple projects with him in the past, and his art is featured proudly in this book.

  • How long have you been an artist?
    •  " I have been an artist for 5 years, 11 days, and 12 or so hours."
  • Who or what was your biggest influence to learn to create art?
    •    " When Image comics was created, I spent so many hours copying pages
from Spawn and The Maxx etc. Todd McFarlane and Sam Keith inspired the
      $h*t outta me when I was a kid! "
  • What keeps you motivated to draw?
    •   "I'm not always motivated to draw. Sometimes I'll go a week without
drawing anything, then suddenly realize I've been locked out of my
house. Where have I been? Where are my keys?"
  • What was the coolest thing you ever created?
    •  " I am the proud and sole inventor of the "Abe Lincoln Blinkin' Blanket."
  • What is your favorite artist and why?
    •  " There are too many. I honestly don't know.  I asked A.I. "Who is the
best artist" and it said Leonardo Davinci, which is the most boring
      answer. "
  • Any social media links you might have to help get your name out.

We still don't know what the Abe Lincoln Blinkin' Blanket is but it as to be as cool as his art.
