Okay, I'm trying to contain my excitement. We're getting the Area Map! Whooooop! Congratulations!!!
The next stretch goal is a Battle Map of Haverside Street. Like everything else in our one-shots, we don't just add random content. Our battle maps are based on locations in the adventure where you're likely to encounter combat. That said, they can be useful for scenarios of your own making too!
We need $15,000 to make the next map happen. With a little over $4,600 to go in only 26 hours, we'd need a wee nightmarish miracle :)
I already shared LOADS of our previous maps on an earlier update.
So please allow me to share other art updates for Pumpkin Slice Latte (one of the adventures you can get on this Kickstarter).
Hopefully these give you an idea of the kind of quality to expect in our adventures overall.
There are 5 different fiendish pumpkins in Pumpkin Slice Latte. The idea being that the evil pumpkin monsters grow more powerful each day from the tiny cheeky Pumpkinder to the deadly Pumpkin Fiend.
And then, of course, there is the BBEG of the adventure, the Slashing Pumpkin an evil entity bent on vengeance. The Slashing Pumpkin resides in the Demon's Grove, a horrible place choked with gnarly roots, whipping vines, and slashing brambles. This monster has access to several powerful lair actions that make for a really fun encounter for DMs and Players alike!
If you haven't added it as part of your pledge, you might want to do that before the campaign ends since it'll cost more after Halloween.
WayStar
As time progresses it looks more like WayStar will become a flagship product for Penny Dragon. In case you missed it, WayStar is a D&D 5e sci-fi conversion. AND we're working on a space horror one shot (a la Deep Space) for next Halloween. And it might even be expanded into a longer adventure. It's too early to share details at this stage, but watch this space! (And please excuse the pun...)
WayStar Playtest Alpha drops next week alongside the one shot adventure Kickstarter for Obelisk: Eye of the Empire. Eye of the Empire will be a one dollar one shot campaign like this one with a twist. It's the first time we're partnering with another creator to bring their world into our system. And we couldn't be more excited. Especially because it could lead to a full blown setting book set in the author's universe!
If science fiction is your shtick and you want something with familiar rules, check it out.
