Hello, backers—

Here’s a quick update on the books you funded and some other cool news. We also have a few things to fill you in on regarding existing rewards and the pledge manager.

First, the books! We’ve been moving quickly, and Neon Rain is nearly through the design process. It soon moves into the development stage, which generally takes just a few weeks, and then it’ll head into editing.

The next one in the pipeline is High Noon at Midnight. This title is also pretty far along the design track—in fact, Bruce was just telling the team today that he’s working on an adventure for that book tentatively titled “Showdown in Alchemy Alley.”

Initial planning has been completed for Gunslinger Knights, and it’s looking to be very cool. The design team digs into it deeply next month.

In other Cypher System news, we’re continuing to grow and improve the Cypher Tools suite. This week we started rolling out the pregen characters feature on the Cypher System Character Builder. Making a Cypher System character using the Character Builder takes only a few minutes, but if you need a character right now, you can grab a pregen in just a few clicks. There are scores of options! This feature is still being tweaked and streamlined, but it's available for you to use right now.

In related news, we’ve added the creatures from the forthcoming It’s Only Magic, a modern-magic sourcebook for the Cypher System, to the Cypher System Creature Index. And with It’s Only Magic coming out before the end of the month, we’re also prepping its rules content to be added to the CSRD for the Cypher System Open License!

If you’ve completed the pledge manager and made any changes to your pledge (pledge upgrades or add-ons), please note that we’re locking those orders today, and will charge your credit card.

If your rewards include any existing products (the PDF of the Cypher System Rulebook, for almost all backers, as well as add-ons such as the NPC Deck or The Weird), keep an eye on your email for fulfillment of those rewards starting in the next week or so. If you haven’t completed the pledge manager, do it now to get those rewards in this round of fulfillment!
