What a day it’s been—and continues to be! We’ve been overwhelmed with your response, here on the campaign, in the comments, in social media, and, well, everywhere. Now that the mad rush of the launch is starting to settle down, we’d like to talk a bit about stretch goals.

As we mention on the campaign page, Knights of Dust and Neon isn’t just about making a few new Cypher System supplements—as awesome as they will be. We also have ideas for some very cool support products that will greatly enhance your experience with the books. We launched with the three zines, one to go with each of the books: Cash and Chrome, Wanted, Hexed or Alive, The Mother of Storms. If you’re backing at the Warrior, Knight, Digital Knight, or All In: Embrace the Cypher System pledge levels, you’re getting these extras. (If you aren’t, do consider it—getting extras like these separates backing this campaign from, say, buying the books later on Amazon or whatever.)

But the zines aren’t all—we have some additional ideas we think you’ll really love. (We love ‘em!) The first of these supports High Noon at Midnight. It’s the Midnight Deck.

The Midnight Deck will be a deluxe poker deck straight out of the world of High Noon at Midnight. It’ll feature custom artwork with in-world imagery and references. But hold your horses, partner—this isn’t just some pretty prop. You’ll find optional rules and advice for using the custom Midnight Deck at your table in High Noon at Midnight.

We’ll unlock the Midnight Deck when we reach 1100 backers. Remember, backers at the Warrior, Knight, Digital Knight, or All In: Embrace the Cypher System pledge levels get the Midnight Deck and similar stretch goal items included with your pledge—so if you aren’t backing at those levels, consider an upgrade now!

Please keep the amazing buzz going about this campaign—we’re looking forward to unlocking this goal and hopefully many more to come. As of this posting, we’re under 300 backers away from unlocking the stretch goal. The more gamers hear about this campaign and the Cypher System, the faster we’ll make that happen!
