This is, unfortunately, a rather boring update but necessary nevertheless. I mostly just wanted to check in, let you know that production is progressing slowly but surely on our plush friends and go over what's already arrived at the warehouse.
I've updated the pintopia checklist to reflect all the packages that have arrived this week, what's been paid for, and what's currently in production. Here are the highlights:
Bat and wolpertinger sweaters are almost complete and should be leaving the factory any time now.
Pins should also be leaving the factory any time now.
Lanyards arrived at the warehouse earlier this week.
All keychains are finished (and mistakenly sent to my house, but its no biggie-- they'll be on their way to the warehouse shortly 😅)
Fairy Floss Bat shaker keychains have been finished and delivered.
Sticker samples should be ready in the next week or so.
Hoodies are in production-- no ETA yet.
Plushies are in production-- no ETA yet.

The colors on the lanyards also came out beautifully!
Lastly please note: I've been in migraine city for most of this week but am finally on the mend so I will be touching base with everyone who has reached out about adjusting their order/address/etc asap. I apologize for my lack of updates over here on the Pintopia front. Not a whole lot has been happening to be perfectly frank, but I still want to check in more frequently going forward just to answer any frequently asked questions and give you all some piece of mind!
I'll start with the good news-- almost everything has been paid for and is in some stage of the manufacturing process!
Some of the sweaters had to be resampled due to switching suppliers, but they came in last week and look identical to the original samples which is exactly what I wanted.
Keychain rewards, stickers, lanyards, and all other little accessories are in production and shouldn't take long at all to finish. I expect them to be done before anything else.
The fairy floss shakers are finally underway! I approved the 3D model, so the mold is being made now and I wouldn't be surprised if I receive a sample this week. I also paid for all of the keychains outright, so manufacturing will begin immediately after I approve the final sample. Behold this fat bottomed lil bat 🙏
Now the less exciting news is that the time to bring tens of thousands of fully safety certified, fully inspected plushies from concept to completion is basically forever. We're still in inspection limbo with Series 2 (sharing a more detailed update about that immediately after this!) which I didn't expect. I just got confirmation this morning from the fulfillment team that the additional, third party inspection I opted for will be complete before mid-October.
The upside here is that Pintopia is significantly smaller than Series 2 (like 10x smaller), so I have high hopes we won't be stuck in manufacturing and inspection hell for months and months once all the material sourcing and safety certs are finished.
That said, I hesitate to give an updated delivery date except to say I am still gunning to have Pintopia orders fulfilled this year, even if that means paying for expedited shipping (from the factory to me) as soon as the plushies are complete if that's an option.
On a happier note (and because its fun to look at) please bask in this snughoul sea with me and cross your fingers that they'll be on the way home soon! The sooner these guys are on the way, the sooner the pintopia plushies can follow right after and we can take full advantage of our streamlined and stress-tested (cause you know 20k+ plushies is bound to break something) chain of fulfillment 💖

For the past several days I've been KO'ed thanks to covid so there are some outstanding messages I haven't replied to. I will do my best to get to them now (thankfully got a LOT of medicine on board and am feeling okay-ish atm 😅), but if for some reason you don't hear back from me just know that I will definitely honor any requests for changes submitted before the cutoff!
I have to process everything manually, so nothing just happens and I will make sure to get to everybody before any charges are processed.
What happens if my payment fails?
Don't stress! Lots of payments fail initially, and no you won't lose your order. Again canceling orders is something I have to do manually, so as long as you update your payment method before your items reach the warehouse/closer to the ship date I can guarantee you'll still receive them.
Anyway gonna keep this update brief cause my brain is actual mush, but thank you all for bearing with me while I recover! I'll have a much meatier update for you all this weekend most likely.
So with series 2 of the Snughouls like The twinkle star, dragon fruit bat, sweet heart bat, cosmic beelzebear, and etc are they gonna be also in the snughouls Shop that’s opening in October?

Just about all pintopia items have been sampled and are ready to go into production now! A few things need adjustments (3 pins, and a sweater) but I don't foresee this taking very long because I'm not requesting new/accurate samples be shipped to me before proceeding. As promised I can now announce a closure date for the preorder store and surveys.
August 20th will be the final day to place a preorder and/or edit your order!
This gives you a little over two weeks to make sure your order is correct and your payment method is valid. Orders with outstanding balances will be charged within 1-3 days of this date. Remember if you need any assistance please email me at [email protected] and I can help you out 💖
Now on to the fun part! First up I have a mess of pins for you ogle. MOST of these are hard enamel, meaning they have a relatively uniform surface and nice, smooth finish. Because of this reflective quality its a bit challenging to take a good photo too so I promise these look even better in person.
Note: These are NOT to scale!! Images have been resized and pieced together to conserve space/preserve detail so their size in relation to one another is not accurate.
Please note that the wolpertinger and moth pin will be edited to have the same bronze plating as Bites-a-Lot.
Plushie samples are also finalized! You've seen most of these already, but now I'm able to include Sweet Heart Bat and Dragon Fruit Bat 💖
The wolpertinger sweaters are also finished, but in a series of silly blunders on my part I lost my iron, my camera is dead, and my charger is inexplicably gone so getting more pictures of these things has been a STRUGGLE. Bear with me a few more days and I'll have some clear pictures of both colors, both on a model and off.
The print, however, is adorable! Charmsey's storybook style once again totally shines and came out incredible. The print itself is nicely integrated into the fabric without that smooth, plasticky feel that immediately makes a shirt feel cheap.
Now unfortunately I'm NOT thrilled with the darker color shirt and will be requesting something closer to the concept art (a more desaturated maroon) but will share the exact fabric/color as soon as I have it, even if the actual shirt takes a little longer to come down the pipe.
I know many folks are still waiting on the 3D shaker keychain as well. Some miscommunication has slowed this one down, but I should have some WIP pictures to share before the surveys close 💖
