The 300-page grimoire known as THE MAGNARON is not just a book of spells, it’s a book of many SECRETS as well.

The pages shown in this update reveal hard facts regarding The Dark Enclave’s current main objective, which is to assassinate King Tavrik, the undisputed ruler of the large area where these adventures take place.

There are many reasons why the adventurers’ quest to find this book is so important. These reasons are as follows.

1 - To stop the current owner of this book (Saito Nobunaga, the Oni lord master that rules over Kergard Keep) from unleashing some of the more unique and deadly spells onto the realms.

2 - To stop Saito Nobunaga from creating EIGHT exact duplicates of this lethal tome, which he intends to pass on to the other eight members of The Dark Enclave.

3 - To prevent the assassination of King Tavrik. This ruler’s death would not only end a very successful, long, and peaceful reign but would also weaken the forces of good while empowering The Dark Enclave’s ever-growing army of evil men, monsters, and magical creatures. 

The confiscation of The Magnaron is vital as well as the PCs delivering this book to King Tavrik and notifying him of the nine leaders’ wicked plans. The theft of The Magnaron would undoubtedly destroy the plans of The Dark Enclave as well as empower every surviving wizard or sorcerer in the adventuring party. 

The infamous archmage and spellbook collector Boris Klaverlock expects The Magnaron to be delivered safely to him BEFORE the heroes deliver it to King Tavrik. In return for the PCs’ actions, Klaverlock keeps THE ORIGINAL Magnaron and provides an exact duplicate for King Tavrik as well as a duplicate for all wizards or sorcerers that survive the 5e adventure RAID ON KERGARD KEEP.

The question remains, however, that even if the party of bold wizards and warriors is successful in their quest, will they be ready for who - or WHAT - will invariably stalk them in the hopes of stopping them from achieving their epic quest?
