Project Update: Smoke Test going out! Preparations for your backer survey below!
Hello everyone!
After much work and experimenting, I believe I have things ready for the Smoke Test to go out!
What's a Smoke Test?
It's Backerkit's 'testing system' that will send surveys out to about 5% of backers to 'fill out', this will give me the chance to look over everything in real time and fine tune any hiccups along the way.
I anticipate sending out surveys by Friday the 15th and Saturday the 16th.
✨"Complimentary Credits" will be applied to eligible backer surveys so you can add your unlocked freebies. ✨
- For backers who qualify for a free washi tape, you will see a complimentary credit of $4.
- For backers who qualify for a free wristlet lanyard, you will see a complimentary credit of $8.
- For backers who qualify for both, you will see a complimentary credit of $12.
❗ Please be sure to add your choice of washi tape or wristlet to your pledge via the add-ons menu. ❗
❗ This is not a complimentary credit for other items, and cannot be used for other items in the shop.
Backers who do not add their qualifying freebie item will have one added at random at the end of the month when we prepare to process payment methods.
If you know you qualify for those credits, and are not seeing them right away, do not worry! I will be looking over each individual backer survey and double checking, so if one is missed, I will be able to find who's missing their credits and get them applied.
Currently, I am anticipating 'closing the pre-order shop' on/after August 31st.
There are some variables with my work schedule right now that might prevent this from happening exactly then, but for the most part, I would kindly encourage everyone to please add any last items to their pledge via our add-ons store (preorder store for folks who missed the campaign) by August 31st. Closer to that day, this tentative date may extend through to September.
All this means is that no further pre-orders will be available, and no further edits or changes can be made to existing orders. This does not mean that your payment method is going to be charged. This is only for just locking in orders and closing down the pre-order shop so we can prepare to place our final production order for all other items.
When will cards be charged for any additional purchases/add-ons and preorders placed?
Currently, payment methods are anticipating to be charged for any extra items and pre-orders around/by September 15th. - Smoke test surveys are going out so we can make sure everything's good to go!
- Final surveys will go out between the 15th and 16th. Please keep an eye out for the notice from Backerkit.
- Backers with qualifying freebies will have credit applied to their orders. Please add your eligible freebies to your order. If not, you will have one added manually at random before the end of the month.
- I will be opening the pre-order store for anyone who missed out on the campaign and wants to get their hands on the goodies we have coming!
- IMPORTANT: Please keep your eyes peeled for your survey email. I need this in order to properly collect your information and get your order tallied in.
- Your address information can be changed at any time until we begin to process orders, which I estimate to be around November. So do not worry if you know you are moving soon. Just go into your survey (once they're sent) and update at any time.
- There will be lots of fun & new add-ons. Check them out, and add whatever you would like! You do not have to pay for those items at this time. You will be billed later in September. I will give a heads up in advance closer to that time.
- Shipping fees will be collected closer to when we begin to fulfill orders. Estimated: November.
