So the (ETA: pin SAMPLES) pins have arrived - Pretty much all of them look GREAT (photos will be in this update!) and I am SO EXCITED about them. 5 of them are perfect as is and are ready for production - 3 only require small changes, but are otherwise all set for production, but 1 may need a larger change. That is the black hole pin - while I chose 2" as the size, that just does NOT feel large enough to do this pin justice. It also does not allow for the translucent enamel to do its job due to some small crevices. 

1) Leave it as is, but remove the translucent enamel option. This is going to be the easiest and least expensive method, as it will not increase the cost per pin nor will it incur another mold fee, or be more expensive to ship. 

2) Increase pin size to 2.5". This will increase my cost per pin pretty significantly - as the mold fee will be higher (and I will need to pay a second mold fee over the 2" pin mold fee already paid), cost per pin will be higher, and shipping will be higher. This will require folks to pay an additional 2$ if they would like to choose the black hole pin option. 

3) Increase pin size to 3". Same as above, however the cost per pin will increase quite a bit more to $5 per black hole pin. I have included some photoshopped examples of how much larger the pin will be compared to the current iteration so you can (hopefully) more easily visualize what I mean.

Now, other than that, any pin changes are minor - I am including images of the pins below (sorry the quality isn't the best; used my phone so I could get these to you all asap!). PLEASE vote on the above poll, as I will need to make changes in the survey if it appears people would prefer a large black hole pin, that cannot be made once it is finalized and sent out (as far as I know).
