I just wanted to give everyone a quick update to talk about the surveys and shipping.
I am very excited to say that the surveys have been finalised this week and a smoke test will occur today.
As you are all aware you will be charged both Shipping and VAT in the pledge manager which you can access once the surveys go live. (VAT is only applicable to those within the UK)
We have also seen that shipping costs have slightly increased from our shipping partners but our commitment to our backers stands so we will not be increasing anything and what you saw during the campaign is the set in stone pricing.
Shipping is as follows depending on your location and pledge level, everything is done by weight.
Please be aware that your shipping fee may vary depending on the add-ons you have purchased as they will increase the total weight of your parcel.
If you are a retailer please note you will get credit for shipping once you’ve proved your retailer status via email
What is a smoke test?
A smoke test is where we will send out surveys to 5% of each tier including late pledges, you will receive an email inviting you to complete your survey and input a card for shipping.
You will not be charged until the game is ready to be fulfilled and you will be told when that charge will occur via an update.
If after 48 hours or once 60% of surveys are done with low amount of issues/questions, everyone will receive their survey.
You will have a month to complete your surveys and on the 22nd August your survey will be locked, you won’t be able to make any changes to the survey except your address.
What else does this mean?
We can’t send out anything until these surveys are complete so that means on the 23rd August 2024 you will receive the first backer copies of Covens of Midnight.
This will mark the start of our fulfilment and we will slowly be delivering every aspect of this project!
Please note we cannot that if you fail to complete your survey we can’t deliver anything and we will announce the final cut off date for all surveys once the first month of survey completion is over.
This is a very exciting time as once we send this out we can allow time for feedback, you can all start playing then we can focus on other areas of both fulfilment and improvement.
The file you receive will be constantly updated based on feedback until we achieve a print ready version.
