Project Update: A road map for the next 48 hours and beyond
Hey there,
We are in the final hours of our campaign, and this is my penultimate email this side of the closing bell.
I thought I'd give you an idea of what to expect over the coming weeks as we work to get Wires in The Woods into your hands.
First up, Simon and I will be having a couple of weeks to decompress. I'll then be heading to Dragonmeet in London and on to Pax Unplugged in Philadelphia, so please do come find me and say hi if you can make it to either.
At the end of November, we will open the surveys which will allow you to fill in your shipping details and add any extra items you may want to pick up. We will also add a few late pledge options. This will run through to January when we need to finalise our production orders for all of the items required. You will still be able to update your shipping address after this date and before we ship.
During this period, Simon and I will be working on finalising layouts, getting everything proofread and checked with a view to having beta PDFs out in Feburary or March. Around this time we will also arrange shipping payments and contact retailers for their final orders.
We will likely have a two week window to catch any issues that your eagle-eyes spot and then it's out to print.
Our goal would be to begin fulfilling late March.
These dates can shift either way depending on how realistic our suppliers are about their delivery times. As always, you can expect plenty of updates from me during the process so you know how things are proceeding.
Also, whilst Simon and I are working on bringing everything together, here's a list of the wonderful Critical Kit people who will be working hard behind the scenes to get your things to you:

- Sarah (Operations Manager) will be dealing any enquiries about fulfilment.
- Josh (Distribution Manager) will be making sure all your stuff gets to you.
- Chrissy (Proofreader) will be fixing all my silly mistakes.
I just wanted to give them all a mention as they are an invaluable part of our little team and I wouldn't be able to do this without them... and you, of course.
Once again, thank you for making this a wonderful campaign. I'll be back with one email prior to the end of the campaign and then one brief one afterwards to say another thank you.
Until then, take care.
Tim (also writing on behalf of Simon).
