PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Late Pledge / Preorder store now live (can we hit the next stretch goal).
Hey there,
If you have already backed Wires in The Woods, thank you and you can disregard this update (although there is something that could be of interest to you. Off you head into the weekend!
If you were waiting on the the late pledge / preorder situation (same thing), I'm happy to inform you that now the dust has settled on the campaign, I've had time to set this up in the BackerKit system. This means you can grab a pledge plus any extras and enjoy all the benefits of being a backer.
Here's the link: https://wiresinthewoods.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders
Moreover... if we raise another £1577 everyone gets edge printing on the books. Woohoo.
We'll keep the late pledges open through into December, so don't stress if you need a little time to think about things.
Wishing you a lovely weekend!
Tim

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Would you like to peek behind the curtain?
Hey there,
Today, I decided to do something a little bit scary.
It's something that may or may not be of interest to you as you will ultimately receive the results of this little experiment as part of your rewards if you were a digital or physical backer of Wires in The Woods.
I've opened up a working document for the solo RPG, All Night Breakfast at The Midnight Owl for all of my Patreons.
It will allow to see a game being developed, warts and all, as well as give feedback and ask questions. You'll also be able to playtest the game as it begins to take shape.
My Patreon is £3.50 per month and just one month's subscription gets you access to the document link plus the historical posts including tons of free TTRPG bits and bobs. That means you can sign up, grab the goodies then cancel (although it helps me more if you stick around a couple of months).
Like I said at the opening of this update, it may not be of interest to you how a game takes shape from idea to final thing, but if it is, this is a good opportunity to see and interact with the process.
If it sounds like something you would like to be involved in, or you fancy grabbing some TTRPG content for the price of a fancy Xmas coffee, you can sign up to my Patreon here.
In other news, we should have the survey and late pledge pages complete by the end of the week, so your next update should be about them!
Take care,
Tim (yep, just me on this one, but Simon will be back!)

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Here we are... The final hours
Hey there,
So, this is it. We are in the last few hours of our Wires in The Woods campaign.
This is the last update I will send this side of everything closing.
Firstly, I want to thank every single one of you who backed and/or posted something about our project. You really have helped us in the creation of something very special. There's still time to back if you haven't already done so.
I also want to thank Simon for his amazing artwork which provided the inspiration for this game. I know this is his first experience of crowdfunding and, though I have being doing much of the posting on both our behalfs, I know how much he has enjoyed seeing the updates and feedback from all of you.
In other news, Simon and I have discussed making something else together, so watch this space. Could there be a Pacific Northwest trilogy? Have I said too much? Don't I always?
Once again, thank you to everyone from both of us and, in case you do run into either of us at cons or elsewhere in the wild, here's a handy diagram from one of the rare occassions we are in the same space. It should help you distinguish us :)
See you on the other side!

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: It's over!.... Or is it?
Hey there,
Firstly, I want to say a huge thank you and offer congratulations to every single backer. This has been our most successful campaign to date and you have been wonderful company along the journey.
Now, I know many of you were disappointed about not hitting the printed edge stretch goal -- especially as we came soooooo close -- but do not despair. There is still a path to making this happen!
Next week, I will open late pledges. These will remain open for a few weeks and if I combine the regular and early pledges, I'm certain we will smash that stretch goal. So, hold on to that printed edges dream. I really think it is going to happen.
I'm taking a few days out from the updates now as I am preparing for three conventions before the end of the year. I will check in daily and answer questions / comments, so please keep them coming.
In the meantime, have a lovely weekend!
Tim (& Simon)

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Let's settle this dice thing... Have all three colours!
Hey there,
Today, I come bearing gifts (again)!
I've been considering the various comments and questions we've had about being able to choose the colours for the d6 in your two-pack. I came to the conclusion that the easiest way to resolve this was to give you all three instead.
That's right: all the dice packs, whether purchased as add-ons, or as part of a reward will now contain all three dice at no extra cost.
We still have just over two days left on our campaign, which means there is a chance we could hit another stretch goal, but just in case we don't I wanted to offer something as a thank you for all the support that has flowed into Wires in The Woods.
If you would like the three piece dice set, you can grab them in the Upcycler or Wanderlust pledge levels OR as add-ons. If you have already pledged or added them, they will automatically be upgraded, so you don't need to do anything.
In the face of every difficulty that surrounds us in the world at the moment, I wish you the best and I hope I can brighten your day with my updates and games.
Tim (& Simon who is über busy making comics!)
