Project Update: 24 HOURS REMAINING (!!) and a potential guest writer announcement 👀

Hello all! Nicholas here, feeling (almost) fully recovered from GenCon and incredibly excited to see this project through it's final hours.

As Sylvan said it was super cool getting to meet some of y'all at the con! I hope those of you who attended had safe travels home and a chance to rest.

I cannot believe we're at the end of the campaign already. It's been a bit of a whirlwind, especially once I realized I couldn't just ignore the rest of my life to sit and watch the Backerkit page. Still, I suppose that old thing about a watched pot never boiling might be true cause while I was looking away we hit the $12,000 stretch goal! This means the whole team will get another raise. Thank you all! And special thanks to all those who have shown up in just the past couple days.

We don't have a stretch goal planned for $13K, but only because we've got a really good one for $14K.

If we hit $14,000 by the end of the project Jay Dragon will be a guest writer for the Book of Legend. That's Jay Dragon, creator of Wanderhome, Yazeba's Bed & Breakfast, and so many other fantastic games.

We are just as excited about this as you are, Jay is a fantastic writer and we would love to have some of that magic in the Book of Legend for y'all to use in your Before the Flood games.

There's still time to back the project, so please go and tell a friend about Before the Flood, or a family member, or your friendly local game store, or yell about it to the earth and sky themselves. This campaign has gone so far past our initial expectations it feels like anything is possible at the moment.

A reminder that extras like the postcards, map poster, individual tarot card and playing card, and the Book of Legend itself are all campaign exclusives that won't be available anywhere else!

Now, I don't have any cookies for you, but I do have a bit of artwork from Reese. Hopefully it suffices as a (non-edible) end-of-update treat.

Seriously, please don't eat it. Look at it's face. That's a non-edible face if I've ever seen one.
