Hello adventurer! Welcome to the Phoenix Rescue & Adoption Center! My name is Cecil, the caretaker of these mythical creatures.

I sense that you have what it takes to care for one of these wonderful birds. In my world Phoenixes are symbols of hope spreading their magic across the land, healing wounds, and brightening even the darkest day. But I need your help! Dark forces are on the move in my land, and they seek to take the Phoenix's magic for themselves. Together, we can go on a journey to help save some young phoenixes. If we have enough magic, we can hide them in your world, where they'll be safe from danger.

When they travel to your world, they shrink down into tiny pins, but they bring along some of their magic. So as you help them, they'll help you by bestowing a tiny bit of their luck to you. Whether you need that for your everyday life or the occasional roll.

I have a little bit more to pack but let me introduce you to the Phoenixes we already have here. If we have enough help, we'll trek out across the land to find more of these wonderful creatures to rescue.

Fire phoenixes are some of the friendliest creatures I’ve ever met! They have tons of energy and are always on the move. Cinder here has even become my research assistant!

Flower Phoenixes enjoy spending time in gardens, taking in the scent of the flowers. They’re very social creatures and are proud of their gardens.  Flora especially has a fondness for sleeping under some honeysuckle and befriending bees, along with other pollinators.

Galaxy Phoenixes are fantastic storytellers! They’re surprising chatterboxes who love to make new friends. They’re truly fantastic listeners who love to roost under the night sky with their friends.

One of the more reclusive birds, Magma phoenixes tend to be very shy. As their element suggests, they love to be warm and hide out in volcanoes. They’re rather reclusive by nature but if you befriend one, they’re incredibly loyal.

One would think that Ice Phoenixes are cold - hah! - but they are rather friendly and prefer to travel in pairs or small groups. They are less rambunctious compared to some of the other birds, but have lovely singing voices and are always excited to sing for their friends. Incredible performers, they will use their wings to reflect light to entertain travelers and friends.

Lots of folks think of Ghost phoenixes as scary, but I’ve heard reports that they act more like guides. Protective by nature, Ghost Phoenixes appear to those who are lost in an attempt to bring them to safety. They bond slowly but deeply and often stand watch over their companions.

Preferring the cold, damp caverns it calls its home, Dark phoenixes can appear to be a bit standoffish, often refusing to leave their caves. The truth is they have sensitive eyes that are specially tuned to see in the dark!

Radiant Phoenixes are exceptionally majestic, even among the other birds. Incredibly joyful, these phoenixes love to play but can’t stay focused for too long and are known to be a little forgetful. They have a habit of making everyone feel right at home

Backerkit is a crowdfunding site like IndieGoGo or Kickstarter. Pledge your support to the Phoenix Adoption Agency and unlock Phoenix pins as a reward! The initial funding goal is $400 for the first three pins, and you won't be charged until the end of the campaign. You also won't be charged if we don't hit our funding goal.  After we fund, we'll keep you up to date on production of the pins and we'll ship them out to every backer!

As more funds are raised, Cecil, our wizard caretaker, will be able to gather the supplies needed to venture further into the mystical realms, rescuing more Phoenixes for you to adopt. Each new milestone unlocks additional Phoenix designs, giving you more magical companions to choose from!

You can adjust your pledge at any time during the campaign. After it ends, you’ll receive a survey to select your chosen Phoenix designs and finalize shipping costs. Shipping will be paid separately through the survey process, and you can even pick up additional add-ons if you like!

Together, with your support, we’ll bring these Phoenixes to life and share their magic with the world. Let’s make sure every Phoenix finds a home!

Enamel pins can take a while to produce, but we've luckily done some preparation work ahead of time. We've picked our manufacturer and have already ordered a few samples to make sure that they're up to snuff!

Mid to Late January:  Pins are shipped out!

We're looking to have a fast turnaround time, but delays can happen. We want to make sure we deliver a solid looking pin to you. We will do our best to ensure we are communicating throughout the entire process as the pins get made and as shipping begins.

Please be aware, that shipping will be collected after the campaign has successfully funded. We do this to ensure that we don't have to overcharge or undercharge for shipping costs.

We always try to search around for the best prices for shipping and will try to find the best rates at the time of shipping. These rates are subject to change.

Important for International Backers: Any regional taxes and import fees will be the responsibility of the backer. They are not collected with your pledge.

Maru is a freelancer digital artist from Argentina, she is dedicated to character design, comics and illustrations.
Most recently, she has been working on illustrations, colouring and pin designs for Kickstarter pages, such as  "Bi Visibility", "NIGHTMARE IN WONDERLAND #1-2", "Nightmare in Wonderland #1" and "Transphoria: A Trans & Non Binary".

Raymond Griffith, a Midwest native, discovered his love for art at a young age, inspired by the Marvel universe. Now a father, he shares his passion with his daughter, who can proudly name over a hundred superheroes and villains, even creating some of her own. His work has appeared in various anthologies, including Screams Heard ’Round the World, My Kingdom For a Panel, Monster Mash-Up, Border-X, and more.
