I have included a few renders of the new ships, with the Sleipnir Refit not shown. Left to right is the Valkyria, Ratatosk, Fenrir and Nidhogg.

Did you know that all the ships are named after beings from Norse Mythology? Valkyria you probably know by its English name, Valkyrie, and these were maidens of Asgard who flew down to Midgard to pluck up the souls of the fallen warriors to take them to the halls of the slain.

Ratatosk was a squirrel that lived on the branches of Yggdrasil, the great Ash Tree that joined the worlds together and Nidhogg was a serpent (dragon) that gnawed on its roots. Fenrir was of course the great wolf sired by Loki that would kill Thor at Ragnarok (dying in the process). Of course Sleipnir was Odin's eight-legged horse.
Why all the norse references? Well, we will get into that in the next update. For now, enjoy a WIP of our Nidhogg prototype.
