I earned my Bachelor's in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in elementary education from Regis University summa cum laude. While attending Regis University, I focused on reading intervention and was awarded a Certificate in Literacy. I applied evidence-based reading strategies to tutor children from preschool through middle school and help them love to read.
New Zealand artist, Lan,, and I, have collaborated to create our second children's picture book, Lily of the Valley. It is a beautifully illustrated tale of perseverance and friendship for children ages 5-9.
