We Funded Last Night!
The Hunt Begins! πΊπͺπ
Thanks to all of you fine folks pledging and helping us spread the word, we funded last night.
We cannot thank you enough for that. This is a passion ...
This Thursday, at 2 pm EST/ 7 pm MGT, Kat the Lore Mistress will be doing a special solo spotlight of No Mercy For Monsters.
If you're following the project here, you should get a notification about an hour before she kicks things off, but to be double sure you don't miss out (and to see all of the other rad ZiMo highlights she's doing) you can sub to her Twitch page here.
I'll be in the chat, watching and available to answer any questions that any of you might have, so please drop by and help me pray for Kat's woodsman's success in The Hunt. π
As we've already funded, we'd like to share the love a little in our updates to other ZiMo projects that we're excited about. Today, that is The Rook & the Crook by Land of the Blind.
The Rook & The Crook is a non-euclidean system-neutral adventure zine by the maker of Vagabond, Taron "Indestructoboy" Pounds. It was written with Vagabond in mind, but it will work with your fantasy ttrpg of choice and includes advice on how to convert to your favorite systems. (They also have an incredible skateboard deck that you can snag as an add-on that makes me feral.)
A NMFM Valentine's Day Card featuring Tasca Skelton's art.
Valentine's Day is barreling down upon us just like our beautifulperfect horrible Beast, dearest Backers, so I was inspired to make a Valentine for you featuring No Mercy For Monsters' tragic situationship.
I am obviously not a graphic designer, but what I lack in skill I make for in Facebook mom-style enthusiasm.
Speaking of enthusiasm, we'd love to borrow a little of yours to help us spread the word for our project! People can only stand seeing me scream about this for so long before it becomes white noise, but a share from supporters actually makes a huge difference.
Social shares, discord mentions, or just poking a friend to let them know this project looks very cool/exists means the world. Feel free to tag me (@jesspendley.bsky.social) or Unplaytested Presents (@unplaytested.bsky.social) in your posts.
Sharing The Love - Other Projects
And on the topic of sharing the love, since we've hit our funding I'd like to shout out a few other projects running right now.
Inspired by Honey Heist, Forged In The Dark, and Push, Mission:ImPAWsible is the latest release from the awesome husband & wife team over at T-Rex Games. Everything on this pledge page immediately makes you want to back it, so head over and take a look for yourselves, but playing as 1/3 of a raccoon-powered spy was all I personally needed. Pledge to Mission: ImPAWsible Here
This project comes from the legendary Jeff Stevens and is of the cc-5e variety. If any of you out there are playing 5e, Weapons of Lore is certainly a project worth supporting. Jeff provides a PDF preview on his page so you know what you can expect from this supplement. Every beautifully crafted piece of item art was human-made, and there is a ton of it to appreciate, so head over if you'd like to make your 5e armory more exciting.
Thanks to all of you fine folks pledging and helping us spread the word, we funded last night.
We cannot thank you enough for that. This is a passion project that's been in my (Jess's) head for quite some time and will be the first physical title we've ever gotten onto shelves. It's incredibly exciting stuff, and after celebrating my mom's birthday today, we'll be back to answer any questions you might have.
Are there any add-ons you'd be interested in seeing? Stretch goals you'd want to help us unlock? Comments about how much better werewolves are than vampires?
Drop them on this post and we'll be back to chat about it.
