Hey there, In the Dark Gang!

GAME DELAY
Well, it happened. A slight delay. My original hope was to get this game to you by Halloween. Such a quick turn around may have been possible if we didn't hit a single snag. Well, we did. There are two main issues that delayed us.

Issue 1: File Formatting
By the end of this campaign, all the art and writing was done. The only task left was the graphic design for the box, rule books, and character guides. Once those were finished, we sent off the files to the manufacturer. However, they sent back the files because there were unforeseen format issues with the files. For example, some of the blacks didn't match (yes, different shades of black) and the cards all had to be on one file instead of 56 different card files. With these little hiccups, we knew we wouldn't make Halloween, but we were still hoping for a solid November release. But then...

Issue 2: Vacuum Tray size
The Tuesday Knight Game Team and I were all pumped and ready to go, but we had a pre-production white box sent to us. It was then we found the vacuum tray was 1milimeter too small for the box. This caused the tray to not only rattle around in the box, but also fall through. Check it:

We definitely did not want you to open your game to find the tray crooked and off its lining. So as you can see, we needed to ask for a bigger interior shelf/lining. But as the captions of the pictures above say, this is good news! The tray will no longer fall into the box AND as an added bonus, the candles will rattle in the box even less. So while this may have added a couple weeks on to the expected arrival time, your Werewolf in the Dark quality is being assured.

I've personally played 23 Knives and have been a part of it's development. This game has hidden roles, historic accuracy, and betrayal.
