Long time, no see. I hope you all have been enjoying Soul Food Wars and have even tried the recipes. (I love some fish and grits!) Well, I hope you're ready for the next course because Soul Food Wars issue 2 is coming!
Issue 2 will follow Lejani as he comes to his home at the academy, Hercules House. But it won't be as easy as picking a room and unpacking his bags. He'll have to impress his future housemates first! There's an all original cast just a quirky as the cast of Food Wars and the story is completely new. And, of course, there will be another recipe for you to try at the end.
Mark your calendars for February 14th (in time for Black History Month and Valentine's Day) but most importantly sign up for the campaign and become one of the first to pledge.

Now that everything's together, I should be able to start shipping out copies on Saturday! If you haven't double checked your address, now is the time! Also, I have a lot of copies of the "Volume 2" art postcard so I might drop them in my shop. But, earlybird backers, your postcards will be signed!
I hope you've been enjoying the ebook of the comic and the print copies will be out there soon!

I will be releasing the ebook for everyone as soon as I can hit the button so you'll have something to enjoy while those who got a print copy wait on those. But there are a few more things that I need to be ticked off.
Surveys/Addresses A few of you still haven't filled out your surveys and your addresses. I can't mail anything to you if you don't so, please, go ahead and do so if you've forgotten. This is going to have to be my last reminder. After this week I'll have to start cancelling the pledges I can't send out.
Shipping I will be charging for shipping at the end of the week, so Friday 1/12. This way I can make sure the funds to get your books to you will be available.
The printer is giving me a delivery date of the 22nd of this month but hopefully (fingers crossed) they'll arrive sooner and I can get your copies out to you! Thank you so much for supporting the comic and for your patience. It will be rewarded very, very soon!
