A few people have asked us what differences there will be between the ION Heart quickstart and ION Heart core book. The short answer is: more character creation, gameplay and world-building options. We'll go into some more specifics below but first Pledge Manager updates.
Thanks to everyone who has filled out their pledge manager already. We will be locking orders and charging cards on 14th Feb! So if you haven't completed your survey yet make sure to do so. We thought we’d share a small addition we’ll be making for the ION Heart core book, particularly when it comes to character creation. But first, here's a spot-the-difference between the old and new character sheets. Notice anything new?
You’ll see that we’ve included a ‘Mech Origin’ section on the character sheet. We wanted to give players the opportunity to delve into the history between your Pilot and Mech. How did they meet, what is your Mech’s history? Here is an example of a couple of Mech Origins we’ll be including in the ION Heart core rules!
We’ve got plenty of new features and character creation options to come, so stay tuned for more updates as we continue with development.
