Greetings space farers! Our work in the mech shop fixing up everything under the hood after our amazing launch is complete and we're excited to announce that the pledge manager is now open. Backers will shortly be receiving an email inviting them to complete their pledges, purchase any add ons and pay for shipping and taxes where needed. Thanks once again for all your support!

We’re continuing the development of ION Heart and we thought we’d give you a sneak peak at some of the lore and background we’ve been working on.
We’re really enjoying fleshing out the Astral Union and expanding the galaxy already shown in the quickstart guide. Eagle eyed Pilots might have noticed in one of our earlier updates that the names of a couple of the member-states of the Astral Union have changed slightly. We wanted the new names to reflect more of how these cultures actually operate.
For example, the “Chiros Republic” has become “Chiros Coalition”. In our new expanded lore the, Chiros government is now a loose federation of individual fiefdoms that come together under the governance of the Board of Admirals.
Likewise, the “Mo’nasque Amalgam” has become the “Mo'Nau Republic”. The Mo’nau homeworld of Oskaw is noted as a centre of arts, learning and culture, but one with a dark history of a violent revolutionary civil war.
One final group, who will make an appearance in ION Heart Remembrance, are the Ion Born. The question is, who are they?

That's not cool, it messes up with everything in the budget, had I known you were going to charge this week, or this month even I could have made arrangements but doing it this way is not the way to go!
A few people have asked us what differences there will be between the ION Heart quickstart and ION Heart core book. The short answer is: more character creation, gameplay and world-building options. We'll go into some more specifics below but first Pledge Manager updates.
Thanks to everyone who has filled out their pledge manager already. We will be locking orders and charging cards on 14th Feb! So if you haven't completed your survey yet make sure to do so. Also if you have any friends who might want to join us in the Astral Union make sure to share the project with them.
We've also got some exciting new project news but first, Character creation updates.
We thought we’d share a small addition we’ll be making for the ION Heart core book, particularly when it comes to character creation. But first, here's a spot-the-difference between the old and new character sheets. Notice anything new?
You’ll see that we’ve included a ‘Mech Origin’ section on the character sheet. We wanted to give players the opportunity to delve into the history between your Pilot and Mech. How did they meet, what is your Mech’s history? Here is an example of a couple of Mech Origins we’ll be including in the ION Heart core rules!
We’ve got plenty of new features and character creation options to come, so stay tuned for more updates as we continue with development.
