It's been 10 years since the original Peanut Bucker and Larson Cat plush were released! So we wanted to bring a new version of Peanut Bucker and her friends Cider and Cocoa to life in plush form!
Peanut Bucker is the main mascot for TrotCon, which is an MLP and Western Animation Convention that has been around since 2012. We originally had a small Peanut Bucker plush manufactured for the convention about a decade ago. And now we want to get an updated larger cuddlier version made!

Peanut Bucker was originally created by Robyn/Darkly on August 11th, 2011 for the Ohio Bronies meet up group which she founded earlier in 2011. Which then eventually turned into TrotCon; along with help from her close friends who formed the original core staff for TrotCon.
Peanut Bucker's sidekick and bestie Larson Cat, came about in 2014. An attendee had found a small grey kitten outside the convention venue and brought it inside. M.A. Larson (a writer for the show/guest at the event) tried to "sign" the kitten as a joke. It was then decided the kitten would be named Larson. Shortly after the convention Robyn/Darkly asked if the kitten could be drawn/become Peanut Bucker's sidekick, the answer was an enthusiastic YES! And Larson has been by Peanut Bucker's side for the past decade.
In 2020 TrotCon had to go online, thus we needed an online mascot! Thus Proxy Server was born, she was designed by the amazing Ruefers for our first TrotCon Online event in July 2020.
Later that year we had another online event in December called TrotCon: Snow Day! which is where we got to meet Cocoa and Cider! These were a co-designed mascots by Darkly and Ruefers. Cocoa is also a species of land gryffin that Darkly created for her own shop/world lore called a Terragryff.
In 2023 we did a Video Gaming theme for TrotCon, so we were back in the digital realm once more. So after describing how she wanted a colorful nonbinary computer bug changeling named H3XC0D3; they were brought to life by TrotCon Art Team.
Throughout the years TrotCon has had many many background mascots. While we would love to bring everyone to life in plush form, we figured these six would be a good start. And we hope you think so too!

Please note a lot of these are estimates and there is a possibility that the timeline will change depending on how many plush are ordered. We will keep everyone up to date on the timeline as get more information from the factory once the plush go into production.
