The Tuesday before last Thursday of each month is Trinity Continuum update day, and here we are! Why is it on a Tuesday? So that I can check the Monday Meeting Notes posted by Onyx Path each week to see if there's been any developments in the progress of our projects!
Let's celebrate Trinity Continuum update day with another Aegis Atlas Preview!
Aegis Atlas Preview 2
Armor
The best conventional armor of the era is heavy and only moderately protective, but ambrosia-infused wonders can do far more.
Well ahead of its time in Greece’s Dark Age, this suit of full plate grants the wearer a distinct advantage over her opponents’ bronze weapons. Clad from head to toe in steel, her appearance on the battlefield signals a grueling fight to come. Creating this armor requires knowledge of producing high-quality steel and techniques for turning it into well-tempered, easy-to-wear, and exceedingly durable armor.
Jaguar Armor (Artifact ••••)
Gifts: Become Invisible, Put on The Beast’s Shape Edges: Free Running •••, Swift Enhancement: 1 Tags: Melee (Edged), Quality 2, Soft Armor 2
Created by the Mesoamerican Oracle and priestess Yuritzi, this armor is made from jaguar skin that is soaked in ambrosia as part of the tanning process. Yuritzi outfitted an elite group of a dozen Inspired jaguar knights with this armor, to better protect them from the monstrous chimerae stalking the wilderness.
By spending a point of Inspiration, the wearer transforms into a jaguar. In addition to gaining claws and a tough hide, the wearer moves with the great cat’s swiftness and agility, increasing her Speed Scale by 1. She can pursue foes across difficult terrain without slowing and feels as at home up in the trees as on the ground.
The wearer may also spend a point of Inspiration to become invisible in either human or jaguar form. This doesn’t muffle sounds she makes or hide her scent, but as long as she moves at a walk, none can detect her. This effect ends if she attacks someone or makes a loud noise.
Royal Armor of Colchis (Artifact •••••)
Gifts: Hermes Cloak, Shield of Ambrosia, Godly Aegis Edge: Armor Expert Tags: Composite, Steel, Soft 2, Hard 3, Heroic
Considering it their greatest work to date, the Colchian blacksmith Pero gifted this armor to Queen Medea on the anniversary of her coronation. The suit’s exquisite design incorporates particularly fine steel, making it exceptionally light and easy to move in. Without spending any Inspiration, it provides 3 points of soft and hard armor and keeps the wearer comfortable in any extremes of climate, allowing them to fight in blazing heat or bitter cold without ill effect. Activating the Shield of Ambrosia increases its soft armor to 5 points, and activating the Godly Aegis Gift allows the wearer to withstand any single attack or other source of damage without harm. The wearer can only use Godly Aegis once per session.
This modest artifact is designed to be worn under metal armor, making the armor both more comfortable and significantly more effective. While the wearer cannot spend Inspiration to enhance this item, it provides one additional point of both soft and hard armor to any armor the wearer dons and prevents the wearer from being hurt, hindered, or discomforted by mundane extremes of temperature or weather.
Hey! A great place to learn about the ongoing and upcoming Trinity Continuum projects is probably...
Next month, on June 14-16, Onyx Path will be running their annual Virtual Gaming Convention. They'll be streaming panels on their twitch channel (twitch.tv/theonyxpath). Here's the panel schedule
The big info panels are usually the Opening Ceremonies on Friday and the What's Up With Onyx Path? panel and Trinity Continuum panel on Saturday.
In addition, they'll have a bunch of Actual Play sessions streamed via partner channels over the weekend, including some Adventure!, Aegis, Aether, and Anima on Saturday and Sunday!
Trinity Continuum: Aegis and the Aegis Atlas are in the first phase of Art Direction, which is Art Notes Prep - the hand-off between production and art. Art notes are collected from developers, projects placed in a holding pattern as artist availability is managed.

ENDING SOON
At the Gates is a high fantasy tabletop roleplaying game about burgeoning heroes struggling to survive, fighting for what’s right, exploring dangerous places, and saving the world.
Magic fuels all parts of Gaia, from fields of wheat to the people who sow them. Magic is rooted in the living nature of the world: the elements, the mind, the body, and the soul. The Void stands outside the world, and represents all the esoteric concepts such as order, entropy, and energy. Where the Void meets the world, Outlands grow. These places are warped by the intermingling of two opposite magics, and everything that lives there is tainted and dangerous. Hidden inside these Outlands are gates into the Void, standing as literal tears in reality.
You play as heroes who have chosen to buck the status quo and try to change the course of things. Your characters may attempt to change the course of the war, delve into the secrets of daemons and the Void, fight against tyranny to protect what they love in the world, fight to restore balance to Gaia, or all the above.
You can stand at the gates and hold back the tide, changing the course of history. Will you heed the call?
