Project Update: 4k goal almost reached - Lots of news!
I was nervous about getting here since we were hanging juuuust below 4k for days, so I unlocked a bit early as I have a LOT to announce:
- As mentioned in previous updates, hitting 4k means all of the moths now have a limit of 20 to claim as add-ons, so those that were at 15 (ooze, ouija) are unhidden again. The pledge tier levels for choice pins are still all limited to 10. There is not yet a way to set add-ons to built-in limits like there are for pledge levels, so I just have to watch them constantly.
- There were backers who dropped that freed up 3 pledge-tier ooze.
- I also unhid the single spin add-on for the fish gacha a few days ago. That is now limited to 20; there are 6 left. I still have not made back the investment on them, which is why I don't have them unlimited.
- I have dropped the 3rd "moth girl" for now, due to lack of interest in the other two as 4" stickers and acrylics. However, instead of a 3rd girl unlocked, I still pieced together something related to them:
- Again, this is poisoned against AI and there will be no swirly artifacting in the final product. These sticker sheets are going to be printed at A5 size (approximately 6"x8.5" - lorge), are a discounted price of $13 for backers, and will have a matte glitter laminate, which has a texture!
- Last but not least, here is the 1" catmoth pin that will be for all pledges that include 5+ pins if we hit 6k by the end! It stacks, every 5 pins you get another free Catmoth (maximum of 4). So for example, if you have 10 spins you automatically get 2. If you have a couple moths and also 3 fish spins, you get 1. It applies to any available pins, but the other freebie pins do not count towards this total.
- These are COMPLETELY RANDOM PLACEHOLDER COLORS and there may still be updates to the mold. Since the mold will not change, liberties will have to be taken with patterns chosen. Please vote in the attached poll letting me know what you are interested in for the Catmoth freebies!! These will be fully dyed metal with epoxy and print, some recessed areas, and enamel only in the eyes. The wing patterns are fully print. It is not impossible for us to reach 6k by the end. Please keep sharing and let others know what these look like if you like the lil guy - I know from experience as a backer that for some reason, Backerkit update emails can have quite a delay.
