Project Update: Last pins revealed and colour variant talk
first- don't forget to vote for the unicorn colours if you haven't! check the community tab for it.
I've given the story page a big update in the goals section, though It's not done (i still need to put up items for snail, dragon, and possibly black shuck colourway goals)
so let me introduce you two the last two pins!

The black shuck full pin and the phoenix mini pin!
The black shuck is going to be sort of experimental and it's really difficult to preview, I may be tweaking the silkscreen plate a bit, but it's basically a lot of different blacks layered in different ways, topped off with some red gem eyes. it'll be a subtle but i hope striking pin.
pheonix is a little bird. they're small!
I also wanted to talk about colour variants really quickly- there's a few pins being excluded from them- That is the fire wyrm, manticore and very likely the black shuck. This is because 1- these designs require the colour of their metal to work as well as they do, and in the case of the wyrm, it has so many special effects if i added a chrome metal to it the cost would be well above the other pins. I'm also not certain the duo plating could be done with chromes and with CNY happening now i'm not keen on chasing reps around for answers during their holidays, or adding a new poll long after the campaign is over. In the case of the manticore and black shuck the design is based so much around the metal colour (manticore's mane, black shuck's whole.. thing with being a black dog) that i struggle to come up with variants. I had a little bit of success with a bronze manticore but if i added one I could only really come up with one variant i was semi happy with (and tbh still felt my current one was better.) So i'll look into it more, but if i add another manticore i may just be added by myself without poll because that was a difficult design to alter colour wise; and as cool as it would be I can't add chrome metal costs to the mini pins.
I hope you like the two new additions and I look forward to see what wins the unicorn poll. Candy is in the lead right now but starlight and woods are tied for second. as that poll wraps up in a few days i'll post the gryphons after!
